And i agree with you,this is my favourite version of MP bc somehow Billie looks so strange as Fanny,really strange! But i think that Edmund in the second version is so cutee ;)

Excellent video. I absolutely loved the way you opened and closed with my favourite scenes: the profession of love and the carriage scene. Super! I agree with your opinion about Billie Piper. Brilliant actress she may be but she wasn't cut out for the part of Fanny. She was simply far too boyish and good grief her hair.

thank you! LOL on the hair but i understand bc it wasn't very austen-like. i don't think billie will look good with a bun. well, i know that a lot of people didn't like RPJ as Cpt. Wentworth in Persuasion especially since he had blonde hair. but i loved him as Cpt. Wentworth :)

thanks rhi! i try to watch Doctor Who as much as I can and i think that's why i can't see billie as fanny. she just didn't seem vulnerable enough BUT i know that my opinion of that will change :) also, the fact that i've seen this version 1st makes me compare any MP adaptation that i will see (whether old or new). hope u r well!

as usual athena, this was great...i LOVED this song when it came out all those years ago! this is great for E&F -- i agree on billie piper, i didn't like that adaptation at all!

it's funny that it only popped into my head that this was a E&F song when i've heard it so many times. i heard the song at my cousin's wedding and told DH, "this song is SOOO Edmund & Fanny." and he said, "OMG!" - LOL!!!

fyi, i totally editted the ending clip BUT when you finally get to watch the full clip of that scene b4 they say that they miss each other, you can just feel the "tension" in the air between them. as in tension of holding back what they trully want to say to each other **SWOON**

Val, this adaptation is WONDERFUL. Jonny Lee Miller as Edmund was awesome and he totally complimented Frances O'Connor as Fanny. Both just oozes with emotions. The way the film ended with each set of character's ending was also pretty "cool". You'll have to watch it to understand what I mean :) thanks, Val for the 10 stars!!

Hands down, this is the most romantic MP fanvid I've ever seen! It was just, oh, it melted my cynical heart away.

This is your second fanvid to reduce me to tears, too! The close-up of Edmund getting teary was where I first noticed I was getting misty-eyed and, then, all of sudden, I realized I was teary-eyed, too! I'm still wiping the tears away!
