  • you gotta be fucking me sideways rn!

  • That is the most incredible i'v seen this year!

  • My max is 180 lbs and im.....sad to say 17

  • That jerk was unbelievably beautiful

  • Having lived in china for my whole life and being a white guy, The kid in the video is not 8, more likely 14-17. Ive seen alot. Call me raacist but im not discriminating him in any way..

  • thanks children for making me feel inferior

  • I suddenly feel rather weak after watching this :/

  • I have just three words for this video I have just witnessed. WHAT...THE...FUCK!

  • crazy asians

  • umm @ArCxlioN probs not idiot... it stunts ur growth... people arent born to play a sport they work hard at it... if u want to lift you lift....

  • @MukTown2013 you're an idiot

  • @MukTown2013

    you are a fucking moron

  • Great stuff!

  • wtf? i can't even do that. how the fuck he can?

  • i wonder wat wud happen if hes in da water

  • no way hes 8.....no way

  • its a midget!

  • JUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUICE

  • great form

  • every chinese looks like a 8 years old

  • Well now I'm pissed...

  • Well this is about as real as Pamela Anderson's tits, and I say that because in each case the round things are made of plastic.

  • people are stupid. weightlifting does not stunt growth. short femurs and short humerous are advantageous to both powerlifting and olympic weightlifting, therefore the best in the sport will typically have those qualities. it is not the weightlifting that stunted their growth. their genetic make up predisposed them to being brilliant at the sport they're in.

  • @ArCxlioN well said

  • @ArCxlioN unneccessary stress on their bones isn't good though. I certainly wouldn't let my 8 year old do powerlifting.

  • @BeastlyDean total conjecture and blatant ignorance. there would be more stress on a childs skeletal structure in a soccer game. running, tackling, shoving. would you let your 8 year old play soccer? yes you would. weightlifting is done in an environment where range of motion is controlled and predictable. the weightlifting will teach the kids correct motor control throughout the body, which will carryover into a soccer game or any sport, improving sturdyness and reducing catastrophic risk

  • @ArCxlioN i'm not saying weightlifting is bad, but there's a difference between clean+jerking 75kg and playing football (or soccer whatever). its almost twice his body weight ffs. His body is still developing and putting this undue stress on it is pretty dumb.

I guess it's his body, aslong as he knows what he's doing and the risks.. its ok. I sincerely hope his parents dont push him into doing anything he doesnt want to do.

  • @BeastlyDean What are you talking about? Weightlifting increases EVERYTHING. Bone density, bone strength, muscle tissue...This allows, and even complements, bone growth and overall body structure. This kid will, unless already predetermined by an existing condition, grow to his normal height and weight. Except he will be cleaning 450lbs at 150.

  • @BeastlyDean

you know, it's funny because.. where I live, in Italy, full of kids playing soccer since age 5, it's done MOSTLY because of parents' wants. And yes, because every other kid plays soccer. So it is most accepted. Can you think of how many risks of injury are there in a hard tackle between two players? But it's normal to do soccer, just because weightlifting is less popolar.

  • @Scurpione i'm an advocate of weightlifting - its great!

but for a little kid this age to be lifting nearly twice his body weight... to me thats just dumb.

you raise your kids however you like, not my responsibility.

  • @BeastlyDean

Great research, I see you've read an article written by someone with under 100 IQ

  • @ArCxlioN thank you.. just another situation where correlation is mistaken for cause.. fucking peasants..

  • @ArCxlioN The only problem is that most of these kids wont do weightlifting past the age of 30. Short for more then 1/2 their year is what I see it as ._.

  • @tanory07 what?

  • @ArCxlioN

Bingo !! Just like tall people are better at basketball.....rocket science it is not.

  • @Flyyyy no i'm pretty sure that playing basketball was what accelerated their growth. and turned them black.

  • LOL! Growth plates.

  • @Rattattattatt

weight lifting does not stunt growth

your probably some jealous skinny faggot who cant even clean 30 kgs

  • That boy ain't growing.

  • @devil1887 with a lift like that he's more of a man than you will ever be

  • @styykez the argument wasn't with respect to manliness, you douche, but rather his ability to grow vertically after constant stunts.

  • @devil1887 then where are your references to studies with conclusive evidence showing that weight lifting stunts growth?

either way my previous comment still stands

  • @devil1887 You are a fucking idiot. Read ArCxlioN's comment dumbass it explains this "phanonmenon" well

  • Holy shit

  • This, although impressive, isn't actually very surprising. It's known that Chinese weightlifters do start young and for many athletes come this is the only way out of poverty for them. It's like runners from kenya - many run because else they'd be working in some farm.

Think of the time when you were 13-18, could sleep 4-5 hours a day, play sports for 4 hours straight, etc? Think of all that natural teen test and GH going into this and you get why the chinese are so successful at weightlifting.

  • If he doesn 't become a champion, he could work 12 hours a day in a chinesee factory.

    no future...

  • Nice video but his growth plates are fucked now, hope he doesn't complain about being short, lmao.

  • wtf

  • on a side note, he is also an experiment by the chinese govnt studying the effects of steroids on chldren

  • fuck you

  • like a boss

  • wouldnt want to fuck with him...

  • if this is real. what the fuck.

  • saubere sache

  • Bruce Lee for Olympic Weightlifting ahaha

  • choni madre

  • Using scale rule, the oly disc is 17". x3 to his height even under compression and leaning forward he is approx 51" or 4ft 3".

Using scale rule, the oly disc is 17". x3 to his height even under compression and leaning forward he is approx 51" or 4ft 3".

He is no more 8 years old than I am 21! the only difference is that my birth docs are lodged in somerset house and his will be when the Chines organisation decide he is good enough to beat the world junior championships when he is 23!

  • That kid is destined for Olympic glory.

  • darksteez has a good point, but I think it speaks volumes that there are numerous successful Oly lifters who went on to succeed in powerlifting, whereas there are very little going the other way.

  • @cobrastatus

Misha is the perfect example of this. Dude is an elite olympic lifter, strongman and powerlifter. There is a lot to be said about developing explosive strength as well as maximal strength. There was an article on T-Nation a couple of months ago with 3 pro strongmen. One of them stated that he believed olympic lifting was the best base for becoming a strongman.

  • @Darksteez I think it'd be a great base, and while many olympic lifters have done well in strongman over the years, history has proven those who started out as powerlifters to be the dominant force.

  • Hahaha Asian those were foam weights I can bench that with my penis

  • holy shit

  • Thats why us asians are short =.= ....no offense (im asian)

  • Comment removed

  • @ChaoticNuke Lol they are working, kids are voluntarily put into training. Your comment shows ignorance, hypocritical racist.

  • his technique is awesome. I don't know which 7 yr old has the temprament and attention span to listen to "long pull" "get under it" "big chest" etc. I'm impressed. I'm only scared for his wrists. I dont believe lifting you is unhealthy or stunts growth or anything. I do believe that injury does though and he's a little small for such explosion. Again, he's awesome though. best of luck

  • Jeez Asians are freakin crazy

  • He's fucking strong

  • clean and jerks are very bad for your back

  • @TitansRule37 Wtf? They might be bad for your back but not for people who do it properly

  • @TitansRule37 Please, explain. I want to hear this.

  • Kids fucking strong!

  • this kids growth won't be stunted at all

  • Leave it to an Asian to be 8, skinny, and lift 165 lbs.

  • @lhhbuck77 lmao thats exactly what i was gonna say... fckn asians man

  • He just fucking lifts it over his head and drops it like its nothing.

  • thats noraml

  • FUCKING AMAZING

  • Impressive whatever age but if hes like the olympic gymnasts 8 means hes 12 lol.

  • Almost as real as the age of the Chinese gymnast

  • why is everybody mad and bitching? what did this guy do? hes only promoting good health. is that so bad?

  • Finally a youngster who can actually lift properly!

  • Thats BOSS!

  • that is f@cking impressive!

  • What the fuck??? I know a lot of kids my age (16) that cant do this.

  • @MikeM00se

    99,9% of ALL kids age 16 (and most over 16) , CAN'T .... lol

  • steroids

  • FAKE

  • fuckin' pro

  • thats a strong little kid

  • that is impressive

  • The discs are plastic, he jerks (sorry for tautology) the technics. In East Gesmany it was done the same way (i'm from ussr).

  • no wonder why bruce lee was so strong

  • @1Nvinc1BLE your 16 and you body weight is 220 ?! :D owned

  • talk about tenchiquie

  • I can do 80KG, but I am an adult over 65KG. respect

  • Kids doing weights? Its a sport. And this kid just happens to be good at it.

  • i know the jerk is almost all technique so size doesn't matter..but how did this little quads front squat 75 KG? DAMNNN!!!

  • @SteU4IA It's the bounce at the bottom, it's neglecting weight and using the force that pushs down upon it to push back up. Very very hard to master.

  • that must be fake

  • fuckkk im 18 and cant do that, fucking asians

  • @lottielovering wtf did you just say.

  • stronggg kig!!!

  • @robertowraith1993 you are right in the aspect that powerlifters are the strongest as I know someone who used to be the worlds strongest man consecutively for 6 years (AUDLEY BAKER) and his lifts were 290kg bench 390kg squat and 400kg deadlift not many people can compete with that.

  • fucking report this video, crazy, in wht fukin world do u want ur 8 year old kid do weights? to fuk him up, tht's not wht they shuld do.

  • @SergioBizzle

yeah. but theres doing weights at 8 yrs old and then theres lifting an average sized man over your head at 8 yrs old. i want to cum in his face

  • @crackmanzful lol wat?

  • @crackmanzful I'm Chris Hanson, why don't you take a seat right here.

  • i dont care what you have to say, power lifters are the strogest.

  • Wow, people, learn Mandarin before it's too late!!!

  • Thats definitely going to stunt his growth, shouldnt lift so much at a young age, he needs to let his body grow first

  • @strongman687

Weightlifting stunting growth is a myth. The only way it could happen is if you damage (specifically fracture) the growth plate, which is located at your knees. You are far more likely to fracture your growth plate in soccer or football if someone hits you around the knee.

  • @KreuzDerKrieg what about teh arms -.- you have growth platers there too :)

  • @Bishiup

You are correct, there are many growth plates. I am no doctor, but all scientific evidence I find does not point to weightlifting being an easy way to stunt your growth. Injuries do occur in weightlifting, yes, but broken bones are very rare.

For more information on weightlifting and stunted growth, go to google scholars and type in

"growth plates and weightlifting" or "weightlifting and stunted growth"

  • de fuck?

  • oh and also, who gives a shit about powerlifting should be called strength-lifting you faggots. take your physics degree and shove it up your arse.

  • olympic lifting is also a lot hard on the body. powerlifters have strong knee joints whereas oly lifters get half crippled from squatting way below to catch the weight underneath, as well oly lifting can seriously mess up the shoulder and back and heart. if you're a beginner in weightlifting you have to start with powerlifting exercises, otherwise you're just looking for trouble.

  • @tldevilsh Actually olympic lifting is a lot harder on the hips than it is on the knees. The knees are never in any trouble unless you lose your knee flexion or buckle your knees in. This means that as long as you keep your hamstrings tensed you will be fine (don't put your hammies on your calfs).

I will however say that I've seen plenty of people deadlifting in a way that may cause them to get a hernia while I am yet to see somebody doing that poorly on olympic lifts.

  • what form! god damn!

  • The form of this little kid was near perfect. He is obviously receiving great coaching. Clearly China will be the power to beat in the future of weightlifting.

  • lifting heavy weights when you are 8...good for you!

  • thats beatiful form, great job and keep going, u may not be as strong as an ox but with tht form nothing is stopping you

  • well that was depressing yet cool

  • I like and respect both powerlifters and olympic weightlifters but am at a loss as to why people are always bitching about who is stronger. Add into the mix Bodybuilders and Strongmen and we could be here all day. Just realise that the people at the top in all four disciplines are stronger than you'll ever be and you can do a lot worse than to include components of all four disciplines in your own programme. Now shut the fuck up and go lift.

  • @Darksteez

    Well written.

  • @Darksteez I actually read a debate between national level powerlifters and olympic lifters about whether you should include box squats or power cleans to increase your strength. What I took out of it? The box squat is a supplemental exercise specifically developed for power lifting, and same thing for PCs for olys. Power lifting trains absolute strength (ability to move an object) whereas Olys train explosive/speed strength (the ability to move an object in as little time possible).

  • @Darksteez That is the best comment I've ever seen on a youtube weightlifting vid. Possibly the best ever.

  • @Darksteez might as well talk about soccer and basketball too cause people dont under stand how different of sports they all really are.

  • @Darksteez Best comment I've read in a while.

  • @Darksteez i <3 u no homo

  • Olympics is more official. A lot of steroids in weightlifting, but the Olympics would be even more stringent.

  • Im assuming that is trolling.

  • 8 years old my jacksey.........this guy is at least 15, why put videos on here bullshitting about their age

  • @WrestlerJim jealous much?

  • Nice Form.

  • excellent form for a kid to have that great of CNS control

  • What a badass form

  • Power Lifters VS. Olympic Lifters: Round One . . . FIGHT!

  • that's because olympic weightlifters don't use all the accessories such as wraps, suits, etc. besides powerlifters don't go into a full depth squat.

  • @kreuz. that's because olympic weightlifters don't use all the accessories such as wraps, suits, etc. besides powerlifters don't go into a full depth squat.

  • goddamn, talk about lifting from child

  • No way that 8 year old kid lifted 165lbs. This is China which means that kid is actually 17 years old.

  • @giantmidget08 Cause the guy videotaping isn't from the states. Because that kid looks even REMOTELY like a 17 year old. Sorry, for some puberty hits late, but unless he has deficient testosterone levels his entire life (which is impossible as it causes decrease muscle development/bone density), there's no way in hell he's past at most 12 yrs old. Stay forever jealous murkancunt.

  • Holy cow

  • This kid is incredible!

  • I came to watch an awesome video where an 8 year old lifts the weight of an adult man over his head. And here all of you are having a powerlifter vs. olympic lifter bitchfest!

  • There is much more talent in Olympic lifting. Powerlifting is just the left overs.

  • @SuperSteele88 No. An olympic lifter cannot pull or squat or bench nearly the kind of weight a powerlifter does. Likewise, a powerlifter cannot generate nearly enough speed in conjunction with strength to move the kinds of weight an olympic lifter does. Don't be ignorant. Two different sports, two different training types.

  • @AashiquiTheri Dont be an idiot. Most kids grow up and want to play football or other sports, not lift weights. The talent is with the numbers and im afraid powerlifting just doesnt have the numbers. Same with olympic lifting in a lot of countries, but their are some countries where the top talented kids do it.

Talent is different, im not sure you know what it means. Example, if some sprinters trained for lifting, would they be better than most lifters? Powerlifting is not the real McCoy.

  • @SuperSteele88 Oh, I see what you mean. We are arguing two different things. By "talent", I assumed you meant it takes more talent to be an olympic lifter than a powerlifter. I agree with you that there is more talent by-the-numbers in olympic lifting as it's the more popular sport. And I also agree about the kids not wanting to lift weights. One of my friends, for example, has no idea why I powerlift. It makes no sense to him. But if you love it, you do it. Regardless of popularity.

  • @AashiquiTheri I love lifting weights (to help another sport) and have very solid numbers in nearly all lifts. The only thing i don't like is when someone says they can squat more than me when i go atg without any support at all and they barely even walk the weights out by themselves, let alone the suit, wraps, belt, only going to parallel. Some people have no idea

  • whoa this kid is strong!

  • lol its like 2x his weight

  • Strongman is the shit!

  • I dunno if the weight and age are legit, but that form was nice as hell. I warn you, Chinese kids look alot younger than they actually are, he coulda been 12 or 13 for all we know.

  • @12815923 still impressive man how many 13 yo kids you know clean and jerk 165!! lol... those chinese breed them kids for the sport

  • Funny how people with no clue about strength sport try to save their egos with "child abuse" and "Fake" comments. So good you didn`t train in your youth and probaly never trained hard in your life. Because it is unhealthy and dangerous and just "scientifically wrong". This kid may become incerdible strong and successfull, but atleast you are healthy (and tall) not like those stupid weightlifters, who just don´t know how to train "right", like thes clueless chinese weightlifting choaces....

  • I love how no one is spotting him and he could drop the weight and kill himself :/

  • @sharktoothking10 You can't really spot a clean and jerk...

  • @AashiquiTheri you kind of can, oh so they will let it fall on him and be like "oh we cant spot him sorry" the less they could do is stand behind him incase he falls backwards trust me its happened in my weight training class a group of kids werent paying attention to a kid doin this same lift and he fell backwards luckly a different kid in a different group saw it and caught one side of the bar so it didnt fall on him

  • @KreuzDerKrieg The difference between olympic lifters and powerlifters is that oly lifters perform powerlifting competition movements as accessory movements to their training, giving little importance to them. Powerlifters make the little exercises used by oly lifters worth a competition, what is next, a high pull competition? On the other hand, when was the last time you, as a powerlifter, put something from the floor overhead, utilising all of your muscles in less than two seconds? Exactly.

  • Fuarrk!

  • this little chinese nigga is strong

  • @bbbbbb222222 why would he be a "nigga" if he is chinese.

  • @Chucktage these chinese niggas are crazy, I tell you

  • what? how can this kid power clean 165lbs?????

  • HE TRAIN FROM CHILD

  • my god, even weightlifters are trained from childhood in china

  • :o

  • DAMN!
