Ever noticed how a tower case is just about the right size to put on a big stock pot and light a fire in? Nice rectangular firebox with easily adjustable venting. These would be great mini stoves for a proper camp setup.
Sounds like a chain saw on crack. I never would have believed peanut butter would have came out like that though. Tinny, with all those machinist skills you have, I am sure you can come up with something better.
The peanut is not a nut, but a legume. Try that machine with some real nuts! :P
Mystery butter with 50% almonds and 50% cashews is really good. Macadamia nut butter has an amazing flavor and the healthiest oils - although it's not cheap!
I grind mine in a food processor, it takes a longer, but it works...I thiink I may have to get me one of those. I add a little cinnamon to mine for a treat sometimes
Oh yeah, I heat my peanuts in a pan...just till they start releasing thier natural oils...makes it smoother, and salt to taste. will make it smoother for ya....just a tip.
Hmmmm....never knew such a thing existed. Fresh PB has to be better than the store bought stuff that is full of sugar and additives. Let us know how she holds up long term. Thanks and Merry Christmas Tinny.
My Vitamix is loud but it would do that in about 1 min, Cost me about $450. but was worth every penny. Makes nice smooth peanut butter, bread and smooth milkshakes.. Thanks for the video! Mart
that thing sounds like a moose with his nuts caught in a barbed wire fence.

I used to make peanut butter in a food processor or a blender. It was a little grainy, but tasted incredible.

Will it allow you to add a bit of Oil to the mixture?

I think you could do that?

I have as of yet found no way to make peanut butter out of any other legume except peanuts?
minibulldesign 2 years ago
Presumably you could make other nut butters with the machine though? If you put in cashews or almonds, it should make a buttery substance?
