@mikefuhr1 --- there is no "right" or "wrong" way. The setup you see here has been very common. But if your setup feels comfortable to you and you can play a respectable beat with your setup --- then stick with it if it works. "Don't fix something that works."

no thats not bad, its your own style and actualy that is pretty good style , if you have symbals far left from you its easy to hit them with right hand

im a drummer, if you are a righthanded gye you will have the right hand on the HI-Hat, and the left on the snare, that is becouse you do more ''hits'' on the hi-hat then on the snare, and you get more controll then, it depend on the song but you play maby 4-8 time more hi-hat hits then snare hits,you left hand will always be on the snare! good look whit the drums pale!!

okej, im play drums, you will the the left crash whit you RIGHT hand if you play on the hi-hat, otherwise you while hit the left crash if you RIGHT hand playes on the right crash, whitch is in most cases in the chorus.
