@IronFistCallahan I tend to be pretty percussive with my right hand. I'm playing with a Dunlop Nylon .88 pick - which is what I typically prefer to play acoustic with. I've come to find that Mumford uses a thinner pick and strums consistently - check out their live videos for some help. As for ME, in THIS video, I'm hitting down-down-up for most of the strums. Hope that helps! just keep your right hand rolling the whole time. best of luck at boot !!
