  • Funny how they keep lying by saying they're Canadian.

  • what about all the deforestation? thats bad too

  • @stasisnu18 dont worry about deforestation in siberia it would take like 1000 years for them to remove the forest, and by then more trees would have grown up.

  • "Here isn't anything to like." The most frank, and chilling quote I've heard from the VBS travels. All those countless hours of train ride in forest, bureaucratic bull, and vodka drinking to get a hint of truth out of an unreasonably persecuted laborer. If it's a silver lining, it's encouraging that the juche propaganda and mind conditioning didn't get in his head.... hopefully.

  • The Fish is a badass!

  • i really hope those north korean people didnt get in trouble

  • As an intern, I can sort of relate.

  • Poorly done doco guys, not what I'm used to from Vice. Let's summarize: got drunk on a train for 2 days, visited the North Korean administration office in Siberia, took some pictures of an abandoned camp, then harassed some workers who don't know shit about shit. The only reason it's quasi interesting is cause the subject is North Korea; a topic everyone finds mysterious. The synopsis sounded like you were running for your lives from crazy weapon-brandishing North Korean loggers. Not so much.

  • @eHudsonification i dunno...i know I'D find it pretty tough to go on these adventures in Crazy Land, so it's interesting watching others do it...

...maybe this one isn't as poignant and incisive as, say, the Lisa Ling documentary, but i still think it's pretty interesting.

  • @rofflemows2 To me his work is more real than the NatGeo documentary you refer to. Enjoyed his original trip into NoKor.

  • excuse me, my balls are missing, i accuse one of you of doing same.

  • I know part 7 is on the official website, but I'd love a Youtube upload as well for PS3 streaming and tv watching with friends. I'll still click on the website to register hits, but can't start watching the first 6 parts without having the finale. :(

  • Part 7 is on the Vice website

  • This basically sums up the lunacy of the modern world. Thank you and good night.
