I have this plane and after a motor upgrade it was one of my Favorites. I snaped the wing in a high speed dive and she hit the ground like a ton of bricks and cracked like an egg!. I would love to get another one but they don't make them any more. :(

Why did you burn it, it easily fixable. my spitfire was in a worse state. and i bought spares and it flies again... mate your abit of a dummie for doing this.....

All you needed was a new wing, motor and a firewall, cowling and prob - but no you brunt it instead, epic fail...........

HaHaHa Errr No! needed new Wing/Fuse/Gbox/ prop/firewall/ costtoo much and as I got a new Spit for £50 at the Large model show at Cosford (now a 80mph brushless nutter bastard) The FW had done its job of teaching me aileron control admi rably........

on the eastern front this would have made an excellent hand warner. as slow as the flames spread, I would have fought anyone to get back into the cockpit and be warmed for 5 minutes or so before it got to hot... oh heck, I might willingly close the canopy and allowed myself to burn to death rather than freeze again at the -40* C temperatures at night. for the germans in the eastern front, death by burning would have been considered a blessing.

Even if it wasn't "economic" to repair, it still looked like most of it was in decent shape. Someone else could've fixed it up! What a waste. I sure hope the motor, ESC, servos, and receiver weren't still in it! If they were, you should probably be given the same fate.
