Aldershot had a glasshouse in ww2, for those who do not know what a glasshouse is, it's a military prison. I can remember talking to a former prisoner of the glasshouse, i can even remember his name, William George Cummings, from Tenby The glasshouse burnt down in 1946 in a riot, and was never rebuilt. A bit of history for me to share with you, oh yeah, i forgot to say, William George Cummings was in the glasshouse for being a coward.
