J10 copied the airframe from Mirage 2000. Such tailless & close couple double delta-canard configuration is a well-known French style positive stability design.

Russian never has ability to incorporate negative stability design into their jet fighter. F16, F117 and B2 Bomber are aerodynamically unstable so as to enhance the maneuverability or stealthy. Those aircrafts require to equip with multi-axis thrust vectoring engine and fly-by-wire flight control system to prevent crossing the verge of out of control. US Government invented on such technology, known as "negative stability", in 1980's.
