I memorized in one night. Aced my APUSH Quiz the next day. I don't understand why memorize though? Lincoln didn't have this memorized. He probably forgot everything he said the next day.

Try reading it 100 times before going to sleep.

And then try it again next morning.

haha im in 8th grade and we are memorizing it i am alwayse getting stuck after it is for us the living =( any tips?

@XChrisxRubiX AFTER it is for us the living - DO A LONG PAUSE then say Rather. This should get you started again. Memorize to the RATHER first them remember from the RATHER. Use the same inflections in your voice as I did, because thats what I did from someone else's reading that I liked. Let me know what kind of response you get from your teacher.
