Hero factory is ok but Bionicle was the best. I have so many fond memories from when they first came out and now they are gone. I still build with my Bionicles from time to time even though I know there will no longer be new ones, no more wondering and guessing what the next ones would be. I would be frantic when I came home from a long day and saw a ad for a new line of Bionicles, now with HF I no longer care. But as bad as it is everyone always remember the 3 virtues. LONG LIVE THE BIONICLE!!!

I don't see why people dislike Hero Factory just because it replaced Bionicle. All lego themes get replaced eventually. I remember lego Kingdoms replacing lego Castle, no one seemed to care. I think the only flaw they made while making this is the lack of plot.

I can't find myself to hate Hero Factory, but I also cannot find myself entertained by it. I think the reason why people love the Bionicle line better than Hero Factory was because it had a very solid, complex story that contributed to it's overall mature tone. I mean Hero Factory isn't bad, but it doesn't know how to define itself except be, well heroes, and that's it. It's hard to connect with these characters since their roster always changes every year and it's just one story after the next.

Hero Factory is aimed at a younger audience. BIONICLE was a story like our normal fight tales. There's death, sacrifice, emotion, and destinies needed to be fulfilled. Hero Factory is more of a "rough-em-then-cuff-em" story.

I don't know why people don't like this though, they look JUST like Bionicles, but with an H on their chest. What's the difference?

@justinogrehammer The thing with bionicle is that it was hard for new younger fans to get the story. Hero factory I would say hero factory is less complex and more for a younger audience but when it comes to the style bionicle and hero factory are equal. Bionicle had a mixture of detailed tribal and robotic elements and hero factory has a more simple, sleek and futuristic feel to it.
