Thats not a Complete spoiler,,,,, during the 23 days, these evil Scientist create this insane disease that kills alot of people, the only person who cannot get affected is near, but he doesnt speak at all in the movie and hes still a kid(around 7-9 years old)then L has to bring and protect near and this girl who had her father killed by the scientist and she intected the disease inside herself but doesnt affect her fast cuz she has low blood sugar and wants revenge, now L must findcur b4 to late

Death Note is amazing. One of the best stories I've been exposed to in a very long time. Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata are Geniuses. This is a great song by the Red Hot Chili Peppers, too. I love the sound it has, as well as the emotion contained within it.

They don't. It was a one-night only deal that Fathom Events did (The first movie was shown in June).
I believe both movies were released in a double DVD pack for $20-$30, but I'm not sure.

Seeing that I neither believe in hell nor heaven, I'd use the death note for a similar purpose as kira would, but not entirely.

He is trying to say, sometimes when things go their way for the better, there are a select few that wan't it back the way it was. E.g. A facist dictatorship loses power after tormenting their country to ashes and a new peaceful regime arises. There will still be people all for the dictatorship despite the suffering that has occured through it.
And the idiots are the ones with no common sense, take from my example.

Nope, the opposite. His actions may not be morally right which is what people are getting at but to make the world a safer place, I would certainly agree as I have observed countless murderers let free only to observe their picture in the news once again.

Yeah, at least, somebody say out some piece of my mind. You see the newspaper everyday and if your memory is good, you see the same murderer again or the same rapist or even the same burglar...trying to steal coke and pepsi.. anyway the point is, if kira erase them, THE WORLD WILL BE BETTER, rather than those country who only sentence a mere life or a 10-30 years sentence..so unfair, how about the victim's loved one? How would they feel...

Is not that killing criminal is wrong but if they don't repent, is useless, letting them to be free once again and to commit the same mistake. Killing them might not be wrong since they never change, well most of them... maybe alot... well whatever, point is, getting rid of them is better than freeing them. Is not they don't deserve the second chance, is that they couldn't hold onto the second chance.

To be honest, the world need Kira. Not to be going against to the military force but i believe kira should exist. There are countless of criminal getting away from what they done. Criminals who involve in mass murder, serial rapist, serial killer, etc who escape their guilt and crime just BECAUSE justice is not efficient. I truly believe that the world need a savior, and it should be kira. Legally, he is evil but to be honest, i think the Utopia that he wants is what we want, right?

He wants a place with no crime, no risk, no lazyness.
Eventually, that takes out more then a half of the population.

Utopia is where everybody will never feel grief nor despair and thats what kira want, isn't it? Everybody has their limits, even god's decision has. I'm not saying Kira is perfect nor his decision is divine but to rid all those unnecessary humans, this world will be much better. War will be in a halt, which government will dare to continue war when kira might get rid of them!? 70% of crime rate decreased is better than 70% of nothing! This world really need a savior.. the iraq and the gulf war..

The third movie is coming out soon/is out now, and the 'theme' song for it is something by Lenny Kravitz (however it's spelled) and it's a SAD song! I'm definitely looking forward to the movie, however.
