$11,000 for my financial computer programming and the best thing about it is I can add/subtract employees and raise my fees in less than a minute.

Taxation has no major affect on me..it's just passed on to my clients or I just cut staffing/benefits. It will NEVER come out of my pocket...I didn't work 80hr 6-7 days a week to build my wealth so I can get screwed....

Yearly, Americans are forced to take time out of their lives to pay tribute to the gods of Washington D.C. Losing income is bad enough, but the intrusive and possibly self incriminating process is not conducive with freedom.

No mortal being can claim to know that their tax information is correct. Simplifying the tax code is a great idea, but an even better one would be to automate tax paying for those who prefer to ignore government. The I.R.S. already data mines the information required.

An economic crisis requires honesty, and a breech in promise represents someone who cannot keep their word. Yes a dog is a small matter, but it was a promise that COULD have been fulfilled-only a person who does not honor their word goes back on simple promises, which means he would also with larger matters. Simplification of the tax code is not what's wanted. Simplification of how the tax code is expressed on tax forms and accompanying instruction booklets, worksheets, etc., etc., is what's wanted, along with SIMPLE, east-to-understand means of LEGALLY avoiding taxes, and options for redirecting those tax savings (back) into mutually*-beneficial areas.

* Government/Treasury-taxpayer-c­harity(ies).
