@BraveBloomKairi I know your comment is a year ago and all, but I'm pretty sure they compare them because the guy who made Higurashi also made Umineko.

So it's quite possible that they made characters look like some of the Higurashi characters on purpose, to promote it or whatever.

@klertzi I have to say I didn't like this one as much. Also, this is the only song from the OST I like, while in higurashi I liked basically the whole thing...Plus the openings and endings in this anime sucked, as well as the art....the characters look like total shit =_=;
