what do you call the folder/what folder do you put your mods in?

Watch a video about the mod placing, there are several ways to do that, most commonly is to put it in: Documents/TmForever/Skins/(Cre­ate the folder) Stadium/(Create the folder) Mod.

Then to apply, when loading or making a new track hold down Ctrl and press the track or in case of the new map hold Ctrl when pressing the mood (Sunrise, night etc..), select the mod and there u go!!

l remember that game, l also remember that l never had the chance to finish it...^^

But the principle isn't far from the one u gave me, before 'AudioSwaping' the song to Creed's 'My Own Prison' the original soundtrack in the vid was from Jurassic Park 2 game (1994), it had a level l tried to replicate called 'Seek and Destroy', it had lava, rocks and stuff..go check it out if ya interested..oh, and thx ^^

Although the Desert and Snow environments are similar, u better not mess with the textures, that may result in missing file, the texure may look not really good because of the environment change, there are some textures that are'nt used; or used in the same environment.

Rather than that u should go tmmod.info search for mods, or even more simple; search in Google for mods, if necessary.

"When?", oh u might want to know "Where?"; well the link in the description. Extract the folder to a defult folder, go to ur game data > Speed > Media > Texture; COPY the lmage folder to ur chosen location (could be any folder u've created). Now go to the Extracted lmage folder (Mod's lmage folder) enter it and copy all the images to the lmage folder in the location l showed earlier..

Of course pal, at first u'll need to COPY the exicting files from the TM folder,

C:\Program files\ Tmunited\Gamedata\Speed\ texture\image.

To folder that u create wherever u like, then extract the mod into the original folder in the path that I showed u earlier, IT'S IMPORTANT TO REPLACE THE OLD FILES , U DON'T WANT RED AREAS!!(SAME IN THE "MOODS" FOLDER)

Hmmmm, wrong. Doing that will replace the normal tracks to the mod, but it's a total texture madness and risk of losing the old textures! To do that, I recommend you to download the program Easy TM Forever, and put the mods in Documents\Trackmania\Skins\Spe­ed\Mod. If the folder doesn't exist, create it, and put the mod in there. You will be able to create tracks with the mod, and with the program you'll can replace the textures without risks.

What I do is (If l am a beginer):

1) Download my mod.

2) Create a folder, and name it "Original mods".

3) I copy the files from Nadeo's original "Moods" or/and "Image"

4) Paste them in the "Original mods" folder.

5) Take the mods RAR. and extract at the game's "moods" and/or "Image", not the "Original mods" folder.

6) Answer Windows "Yes; to all" (the mixing).

7) Enjoy Trackmania...

No if u know how to use it right u need to create a new folder and then copy the texture images to that folder and when its already pasted in the new folder u take the all the new mod files (NOT THE FOLDER!!!!!) and paste them into the original image folder with the old textures.

It's easy just hard to get the explanation in 100%.

Yes, it is a free download from the site "TmMod" (uploaded by me) , try too look in the "More Info" it probably has the link to the site.....

Choose "English" or "French" for site's language and search in the mod lists.
