@Randiesel1981 We are not offended, we are merely sorry for you. Harry Nilsson himself said the Beatles were not just the best group, they were the ONLY group. (And, of course, the Beatles, thought that Harry Nilsson was their favourite GROUP - LOL) .
Having said that, this is just one of the best songs ever. IMHO.
Nilsson's voice is so soothing to me ears. If you haven't already you should really watch the documentary "Who is Harry Nilsson and Why is Everyone Talking About Him?" It's quite touching :)
@SonofMrPeanut I am watching it now!!! I never heard the 1941 song before, so I came on youtube to look it up. I became a fan of Nilsson after hearing a song he did with John Lennon "Mucho Mungo"/Mt. Elga
Man, it is amazing how many songs that Nilsson made that I've really enjoyed, and yet never knew who he was til now....just watched the doc, "Who is Harry Nilsson?"...awesome, eccentric artist....
Being for the benefit of Mr Kite?

@Kenny2WWE Nice man, buy the album Pandemonium Shadow Show, on Ebay on LP, before they're all gone!

@Dominogray The circus bit could've used elements of Mr. Kite.
I could certainly imagine the words being written by Lennon.

Am I the only one who feels this song belonged on Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Heart Club Band?
One of the few times their unique sounds intersected imo
