More than any other ELP song I can think of, this one epitomises the contrast between the three musicians. Greg Lake strumming a lyrical ballad and singing flawlessly. Carl Palmer finding a beat that only he seems to be playing to. Keith Emerson hits his stride with a top-drawer classic jazz-prog solo on the Moog, Timeless.

EL&P's all-time best song--a unique, riveting rock classic! The techno rift that starts at about 3:22 is way ahead of its time (done with a moog synthesizer). Love the picture of EL&P shown then too--so young and talented and their whole lives ahead.
