this sounds alot like my horse, Dakota. He's a huge bully, and tried to kill me yersterday (unintentionally, he just wanted to do what he wanted, he doesn't hate me, hes just a brat), but when youre on foot, he loves you to bits! well, to Mint candies! im still workingon his bridling, and i feel like hes too much stress on me, him being a bully, and me being a "scrawny girl who knows nothing about training horses that have been abused" screw them.

Your are right in saying that she is a lovely horse, misunderstood and just needed someone to spend time with her. It's a true saying you only get out what you are prepared to put in

I have also had the pleasure of being with Dakota. She is a lovely horse and i not being a horsey person am a bit wary around them, but dakota let me cuddle her and touch her ears also. I have two and a half year old son and Dakota was gentle with him taking food from him and coming down to him to be patted. i know Janis loves this horse and will never part with her
Hi - I'm Janis (zanders mum) who owns Dakota. However she has not been with the same owners since she was a foal I rescued her about 15mths ago - unhandled. Unfortunately there are many discrepancies in your tribute to Dakota. . Therefore she will never be for sale. She was broken and ridden away on hacks prior to going into racing. I appreciate that you like the horse but try and not tell lies about the owner.
this mare is at my yard .. she is owned by a zanders mother, and has broke her in and brought this horse on so far.. shes a compleatly different horse now, and its all because of what Janis has done with her. why would you EVER question dakotas well being with her owners.. how dare you! she is a cared for horse.. and she is now away racing after all the hard word janis has put into her, dakota only really trusts janis i really dont understand you..
isnt she just adorable?! I guess I am lucky, but I can honestly say that right now I wish I'd never met her, cause its so heartbreaking to be without her =( I swear on my life that if I ever get the money, I'll buy her, no matter what the cost <3
true.... but I fall in love with almost any horse I spend more than 1 day with... this was more like true love, if you can have that with horses. Right now I cant stop thinking of good get rich quick schemes lol.... I wants lotsa moolah XD
