  • This is fun to watch, but to really get it, you have to be there! Treme does their fest set on Sunday, May 8 at the People's Health Economy Hall Jazz Tent at 12:25 pm.

  • they are and allways were a altered stste of conciousness

Im so glad I founfd your chanell

  • What's way cool is that Tuba fats was also a street musician's name in New Orleans. Yes. He played tuba. He marched a bit, but you could always find him on Jackson Square - often with Lady Linda, a phenomenal blues & jazz singer.

They've both passed on - sadly neither of them were very old. Tuba's heart got him & Lady Linda had cancer. so sad.

  • The old man at 3:34-3:40 is priceless. He doesn't miss a beat! I mean.. this grove is in his spirit. There's really something about the bass drum and that cymbal. Love this video, and I bought the album b/c of it. AWESOME feeling!

  • Lionel Batiste. He is great and I love his style. He makes Treme one of my favorite brass bands to listen to.

  • @Stotnox - Lionel Bastite, Sr. ;-) true dat.

  • The energy and joy just pours out of this video , wonderful piece.

  • what song are you all playing? or are you just riffing of each other?

  • One of my favorite songs, it's called Tuba Fats.

  • This was so much fun! I was in the photo pit and Uncle Lionel whacked me in the head with his drum when they came down into the audience. What an HONOR LOL!

  • A nice long dose. Thanks!

  • Cool!
