I don't know if you have tried the primacolor nupastels yet, I haven't seen your video about them but they work wonderful with water. When you use them with water you a watercolor effect. You can also use Matte Medium instead of water.
I went to one of those Golden classes last month. Fabulous! It's great to see all the examples and things you can do with all the different gels and mediums and paints. Although I'm pretty sure that your polymer medium is going to be similar to the glue. It's a waterproof medium which means that water soluble anything won't work well on it :-( Ask me how I know, hehe.
