It's so bizarre that they don't play Hyper Music anymore. They've played most of their album tracks from OoS throughout the years - but no Hyper Music! What makes it so strange is that back during OoS, they released it as a single and made a music video for it. They obviously thought it was good at the time. So what - they don't think its good anymore? I guess its also a good thing at the same time though - its shows everyone that they are NOT defined by singles.

Micro Cuts isn't just falsetto - its the most difficult falsetto vocals I've personally ever heard in contemporary music. I dunno if I could imagine Hyper Music every being harder to sing than Micro Cuts. The 'whooo' part you're talking about - do you mean his scream at the beginning? If you are, then that's like one small bit isn't it? So he hasn't sung Hyper Music in 7 years because of one bar-worth of chest vocals?

I have seen a video of him singing it during OOS tour, and he was struggling, turning red, and his voice was going hoarse. His voice range has gotten even lower than that, so yea.

I'm sorry, but I guess we disagree here. There's no way in hell I can believe that Hyper Music is harder to sing than Micro Cuts. Hell, I can sing Hyper Music - maybe not well like Matt, but compared to me attempting Micro Cuts......

Anyway, the 'whooo returns from the dead' part - Matt sings that part in falsetto live. I have the Hullabaloo DVD, I definitely know he does. Its a pretty deep falsetto range, so it isn't hard to do. That throws out your 'chest vocal' claim, does it? Peace mate.

check out the vid where they play at montreaux jazz festival, ''and I never diiid'' he cant even finish that part in chest voice he has to go to falsetto, which means he cant sustain it

Its true that he doesn't finish the chorus on Hyper Music sometimes, but dude, he's like that in a lot of songs. If you check out the HAARP version of Micro Cuts, he sings it prety shit compared to how he did in the past. However, he still chose to have that song on his setlists during 2006/07. So why not Hyper Music, which as I argue is easier to sing?

Also in regards to falsetto being easier to sing if you can do it, I agree completely. But dude - we're talking about Micro Cuts here!!

@farizzal they play in Reading this year and that will be an OoS concert, they will play mostly origin of symmetry songs, and hyper music will 90% surely be played there. I hope the cameramen will be there, so we would get nice vids in utube.
