I am thinking about getting that same very plan. Straight talk seems to be a great deal. I really enjoy the savings that straight talk offers as well, although it does seem to good to be true. Straight talk might just be for me.
I’m usually pretty skeptical about low cost services I’d rather pay the extra money and make sure what I have is reliable but I decided to give straight talk a try after my co worker told me about it like 5 times. There’s no contract so I figured its not too much of a risk. Its been about 4 months and the service has been better than what I expected. Glad to be saving some good money.
Its crazy how contract phones are so expensive these days. I opted for a Straight Talk a while back and I have been very satisfied with the service. You really cant beat the price :-)
@Edkamal14 No, you can't. The internet doesn't move as fast as I want it to but I just switched from iPhone and I'm really impressed at what it can do for less than half of the cost. Do you have the E71? Using that is like printing money, it's very powerful yet a fraction of the cost of BB or iPhone.
Hey peaceisnotadirtyword, I agree that Straight Talk'S $45 unlimited everything plan can keep you closer to your boyfriend and family no matter where they are in the US. It can save a relationship and keep friendships alive that have started on holidays far away from home. I wouldn't have such a super social life if it wasn't for my Straight Talk Unlimited everything plan. Regular communication keeps your relationships strong, Straight Talk helps me do that for very little money.
In being in a long distance relationship, I was always going over my cell phone minutes. It made me realize that I needed to find another alternative which was straight talk. I was impressed by there plans and was able to get the unlimited plan for half of what I paid for before. I feel straight talk has made my relationship stronger with my boyfriend as I can always be on the phone without using my minutes as an excuse anymore.
@@tmartzen512 I am NOT a fan of WMart but I do like Straight Talk. I try to transacat all my biz with them online and have only gone into the store ONCE to purchase airtime and that was it. You can do alot on the Straight Talk website and that's fine with me!
@BettyOffwhite Yeah tell me about it, Walmart is the worst part of this whole equation. Had my e71 for about three weeks now and the service is really, really good for what it costs. The internet is slower than 3G but that's what I figured would happen I guess with the diff. in price. reliable as hell.
you have gott be crazy not to think about pre paid these days - no contract, no surprise bills at the end of each month, no overage charges or other hidden costs. with straight talk it is literally $45 a month and that's that that no strings attached..
Straight Talk is not a service for loosers and bums. It is a high quality, low cost service that now has good quality smartphones as well. It is the smart choice for anyone with financial discipline. People who need the latest and don't care what they pay will not be Straight Talk customers, they will be AT@T and Verizon's lawful prey.
@tmartzen512 - I think its even harder for people to trust a company like Straight Talk because of the whole Walmart association, but what people don't realize is Walmart is just an authorized dealer. Just like any other company, there are places were can solely by the product that are authorized, but it not necesarily the maker of the product - same with ST. If people feel more comfortable, there is always their website.

Pre paid rocks! No hidden costs, just as great coverage, you can save around $50 every month, all inclusive deals like the Straight Talk deal mean that you are able to budget to the cent - what's not to like?
I've had Straight Talk for months now since June.. I'd like to think I talk/text more than the average person and so the plan seems to get cheaper and cheaper relative to the amount I talk and text simply because I can imagine my previous bill getting run up as I do so. This is essentially a verizon phone and network without paying the verizon price. I have a nice, modern phone and customer service as well as overall service has been exceptional.
Now that I have experienced the sweet taste of freedom with using Straight Talk's plans after having been on a contract I will never want to be on a contract again.
It's great to choose any Straight Talk plan I want ie: the $45 unlimited plan for unlimited talk, texts or mobile web and free calls to 411 or the $30 plan for 1000 texts, 1000 talk minutes and 30MB of data and free calls to 411. The savings you make using these plans are phenomenal.
I think that it is pretty well agreed by now that contracts suck. The question is which prepaid operator should you go with. Fortunately, if you choose the wrong one, you can just walk away, so the decision is not life threatening. For me, at the moment, Straight Talk seems like a good deal, and I am pretty sure that Walmart will be around for a while, so the risk is about zero.
@posserable Yeah I feel sorry for poor consumers who are still signing two year contracts for their cell phone plans. What is the point of that when Straight Talk offers unlimited everything on a smartphone for less than half of the price? Do they still have any customers?
@jdrasdet456 Yeah they have a ton and it's because people don't trust prepaid because it used to be for people with bad credit and broke people. But more and more of the market is ditching the contract model and now Straight Talk offers high-end phones so this is slowly changing.
@tmartzen512 I do not think Straight Talk is only for people that are broke or have bad credit ratings but more for people that are more concerned about paying for what you use and value add and not being held captive by contracts that are charging for more than goods and services and not being able to exit until the contract is over or having to pay a penalty exit charge. I think that ST offers flexibility to choose different plans on a month to month basis according to usage.

Did you see that they have a rusty screw for cancellation fees. That is exactly right. Cancellation fees are like a pirate's ransom which you have to pay to be set free. Now that I am on Straight Talk I will never sign a contract again.
@peetspeak oh my! yes, I hate cancellation fees. My mom had to pay over 200 to be able to switch. See after she saw y straight talk, and the fact I pay only 45 for unlimited and have no contract on a smart phone, she cancelled her tmobile and bought a straight talk. The fees were a downer but really after she switched not only she got that money back in savings now she is saving over 50 a month.
Contracts take away your fundamental right to be free to make a choice that is good for you! Straight talk give you the freedom to choose which plan suites you and your budget and at the same time gives you truly the best prices on the market. I know that the reception is brilliant and I know I'm sticking with Straight Talk because they are putting us the consumer first.
The great thing about Straight Talk is that you are not locked into a long term obligation. For $45 a month you get unlimited everything, and if you want nothing next month, you just don't pay. No threatening letters, no mark on your credit record, just walk away if you want to.
@Simpsong28 No contract means that you're not bound into paying extra for any hidden fees that were in the fine print. It also means that you don't have to pay the fee that all those other cell phone service providers charge just for canceling your service. With Straight Talk you just buy your plan and thats the last you have to hear about it. It's a great system. :)
Im the type of person that you can listen to when it comes to bills and contracts. I have been burned by most of the major companies out there. Ever since i switched to straighttalk i dont have a contract and i just pay $45/month for unlimite minutes, text, web, and 411. Can't ask for more than that.
Same here fifagod. and yes straighttalk is amazing, one of the best deals i have ever done. I just pay $45 per month and i get my unlimited service. Btw ill beat you in fifa fifagod305
I can't get enough of these miniature comercials they're so funny and so true in some ways. It has happened to me where the bigger companies put hidden or outrages fees in the bills. However with straighttalk is always the same, no surprises, no contract and prices like $45/month for unlimited service who can compete with that.
I just love those words...everything you need in a cell phone without a contract. Just to let you know, that you can also find some really good deals on the Straight Talk website. You can buy either the $30 all you need plan or the $45 unlimited plan and get a phone for free. I love that word too...free! Oh, and some phones even come with free shipping. There it is again...And, you don't even need to leave your house. Now, that's a beautiful thing.
Straight Talk, Walmart, Savings..... The key words for the best offer in cellphones. I have saved for my Holidays Gifts and for more Straight Talk cellphones for this Christmas. For $30 a month and 1000 minutes & 1000 texts & 30mb you will laugh all the way like Santa does. Ho, Ho, Ho I have money for my gifts. At Walmart they are having sales, head overthere now. You will thank me later.
Straighttalk has saved me more than $50 a month compared to my contract. Being on a prepaid plan makes me prepared for my monthly costs. With the Straighttalk $45 unlimited plan you really only pay $45 for all the talking, texting and dataring that you can do.
EPIC Commercial. I have their awesome unlimited plan and when I switched over, I started saving about $40. Their service is also very dependable. Never have I had a dropped call, which is something I can't say about my previous service provider. This would be a great gift for the holidays because it allows you to spread the savings
My grandparents both use this plan. They don't text much or talk so this plan is perfect for them. My grandfather told me that he was saving like $800 a year with this plan versus his old phone company..
Straight talk is great! I know you guys know that cos you are here sharing your goodness! But Im sure you dont know that this Friday, black friday, walmart will be having the Samsung T255 on sale for 45 bucks with a 45 air card, that's a free cellphone in my book! I'm getting one for my little brother as a xmas gift! get in line!
Thank goodness I got out of my two year contract - eventhough I had to pay to cancel it was well worth it. Switching to Straighttalk has saved me more money than I spent on the cancellation 4 months ago. What I now have to look forward to is all the cash I save in the future. It should work out to about $600 for the year - Maybe with some of the money I will get myself a smart phone but that might just be being extravagant as my current phone is perfectly sufficient
I switched to straight talk a few months back and I am saving a bundle on my phone services. It was amazing how I simplified my once-extensive phone bill into a simple $45 that I pay over the internet. $45 for unlimited use is great.
It didn't take a mechanical arm to point me in the right direction just a couple of great Straight Talk ads like this one! Now I'm as happy as can be on the unlimited talk, text and data plan at just $45.00 a month and the savings are mounting up in the bank!
So that's how Straight talk save me $80 a month...just take out all the cr*p I don't need. And they forgot to mention that they provide way better coverage!
"Uselysses superflous" LOL!!! Seriously though, why pay so much more for a phone and plan that are both overrated and overpriced? People need to know how much better Straight Talk is! It hurts me to know that people are wasting so much money that using Straight Talk could save. Listen people, I'm saving $50 a month compared to what I used pay on my last plan!
@Thorakify I was one of those idiots on contract till I got persuaded to go Straight Talk...wish I'd done it long ago I'm saving so much money....if I'd done it sooner I'd going on a cruise these holidays....but there's always next year to look forward to!
Got to have a Straight Talk Cellphone so I went to Walmart and tried it for myself. I could not be more pleased with my $45 month unlimited plan. No contracts to sign, no dropped calls and savings for this Holiday Season that is around the corner. Talk, text, call 411 for free, search the web and no hidden charges to scare your checkbook. Have a great Holiday Season! I know I will.
I have recently moved and wish all my friends were closer but fortunately Straight Talk offers the $45 unlimited option so now I can talk......and talk........and talk without having to worry about getting a heart attack when I get my bill.
My husband and I use straight talk and love it. We're retired and don't use our cell phones that much but our grandchildren love texting so it's been a great way to keep in touch with them. The all you need plan is only $30 and gives 1000 texts and minutes a month and 30 MB of data. It's perfect for us!
Cool man, Straight Talk is amazing I am confident that I am getting value for money. The $45.00 unlimited talk/text/data is the one I will go for as I am one of those people who always needs to keep in touch.
Ha! Great commercial with a hood message. Who needs all that extra stuff? Plus the unlimited deal matched up with the new Nokia smartphone is crazy good!
Love this ad. it really lays out all the bonuses of Straight Talk plain and simple. Amazing that I can save $75 a month and get better service and coverage.
What a way to save with Straight Talk Unlimited plan for just $45 a month. I was paying too much for my old plan with another company, and with a 2 yr. contract that if you get out of it before is due, a huge penalty is send to your bill. Not with Straight Talk, is all like the name says, straight forward with all the details read in comments and at the time of purchase is so easy to install. Get Straight Talk soon, now.
LMAO. Thats all i have to say about the commercial. About straighttalk, its awesomeee. I am a current student, like a couple of the people that also commented on this video, and they're right, the amount of money I am saving is great. The difference is huge, I use to pay 110 dollars at my last carrier for unlimited service. But then i found straighttalk at Wallmart and BAM savings lol. Just $45 dollars and unlimited text, web, minutes, and much more.
I am also a student and now I have found another way to save my money. It is so easy to save money with the unlimited $45 a month plan. I can talk and text all i want without having to deal with overages or worrying if I pass my minutes or text limit.
hey knicksfan you got that right. as a student i have to save money where ever i can, and with the unlimited prepaid plan from straight talk i do save a lot, but these savings do no limit me in any way, if anything i can chat and text even more than on contract, but for less money. and with straight talk there are no dropped calls and no limits
I work on commission and lets just say things havent been as great in years past so anywhere i can save money is a huge deal but when it comes to my cell phone i cant afford to compromise coverage. Between my girlfriend and my clients calling and texting reliability is a must. Just switched to the unlimited plan on straight talk from t mobile and im saving over 500 bucks a year and the service is great
I have saved so much money since I switched to Stright Talk. You realise how much you get milked being on a contract because every month you get wacked with a surprise that always somehow seems to be more than the last. The unlimited Stright Talk deal is just unbeatable - $45 dollars and you can call, text, data transfer until you are blue in the face and you bill stays the same. Magic!
Why does anybody still sign a contract to use a phone? Unless you're a silly person and need a mini computer and not a phone, I guess. But to talk and text like God intended, Straight Talk is perfecto for me-o! I pay $30 and get 1000 minutes to talk and also 1000 texts. How sweet is that? (Alot!!)
Straight Talk really is too good to be true. I will never look back! It is so reliable with the unbelievable coverage and as my business gets bigger and bigger I find myself doubling my time on the phone each month and I don't even have to worry about an increasing bill. I can budget for my $45 a month and leave it at that! Brilliant..
Straight talk really have reinvented the cell phone and kept all the good stuff like great coverage and dirt cheap data, texts and minutes. The $45 a month unlimited deal is probably the best deal out there...
The bionic arm reminds me of the time we used to get a cellphone bill and I would scream at the kids "just look at the size of this bill" but not any more! The kids have the Straight Talk unlimited usage plan at $45.00 a month and I have the $30.00 a month plan as 1000 minutes is more than enough for me and we save money!
I'm saving at least $55/month using Straight Talk since cancelling my contract, the $30 Straight talk plan is not frugal by any means, I don't feel like I have to time my calls - half an hour a day for talking is sufficient to get all my organizing done for the day. As for the 1000 texts for the month I can't possibly use so many
the perfect deal for the whole family, Straigth Talk plan at $3o a month works just fine for me, 1000 minutes of talking is plenty. for the kids that seem to have so much more to say to their friends the $45 a month for unlimited talk and texting is perfect. thank you. i think prepaid with Straight Talk is the way to go
"Everything you need in a cell phone, without a contract" That's exactly what they offer...and at an amazingly low price. I'm still blown away at what I've been paying and for so much less than Straight Talk is offering. It's time to jump ship and Straight Talk seems to be the best!
Down to the bone...that's Straight Talk..no hidden agenda's or fees just the basics...unlimited calls, texts and web access for $45.00 per month and that's it...everything one could wish for from a cell phone service!
I think contracts suck because they are designed to control you & your money and to try to take money from under your nose by means of all those hidden charges and not to mention the contract cancellation fee's. Thats why I changed to Straight Talk prepaid and have thus saved about $720 over the last 12 years - these value for money packages can't be beat. One of ST edges is that their nationwide calls are the same price as a local call - thats a big saving for calling family out of state.
LoL @ the cockroach as the hidden fees. Funny commercial but the Straight Talk deal is not funny at all because it is such an incredible deal! For $45 a month I get unlimited talk, text, web access, and free 411!
I agree with Linda...she really made me laugh but it's so true...teens have no concept of time or cost when on their phones and Straight Talk has taken a huge load of stress out of being a parent...peace of mind at $45.00 per month is a bargain! Thanks Straight Talk!
so who invented the concept of Straight Talk? I'm ashamed to say it was not me! But it had to be a mom on a budget, ST is the best thing for families with teens, specially that they are back in school. Not just that, but thank goodness they also have unlimited long distance, kids are very closed to their father who lives in California, with 4 teens who talk to their father about 10 times a day, we are both grateful for ST!!
Awesome ad love it.. Straight talk really know what having a cell phone should be and they make it a reality- great coverage, great phones and paying for what you get AND NO OTHER STUFF!
This video is funny! I got a Samsung for my teen daughter and it's been a bliss since. unlimited minutes is awesome but unlimited text!? OMG! I'm the luckiest mom on earth! Do you know how much that girl can text! Is like she has bionic fingers I tell you! Straight Talk saved the family budget... now we can afford other luxuries, like say…food! Lol
I like straight talk because I do not need to be wrapped up in a contract. This is the number one issue that I have always had with any phone company. If you do not like the service simply get rid of the phone and get a new service provider. People would not stick with straight talk if they did not like it. I pay just $45 a month and I have unlimited talk, text, and data. No overages or cancellation fees. Also, I get great coverage with the Verizon network! Great phone!
HUGE Straight Talk fan. Been with this service for a while and it has kept me a very happy customers. Great savings, great low prices, great service. It really offers so much. Unlimited plan for just $45 is just unbeatable! Keep it up Straight Talk!
Great phone service! I've been on them for more than a year now and still going strong! There is still nothing out there to rival this plan. I see others have tried but they all fall short in some way. The coverage on the Verizon network is such a big advntage and now I see they will soon have Straight Talk phones on AT&T too!
I love this ad, the thing labelled 'overages' looks like an oyster with a tan :) Nice to see a funny ad from Straight Talk, I love the service and the value but always enjoyed some of the ads from other prepaid companies, now thats changed.
Bough straight talk card activated on 7/24/10 and getting you don't have enough fund msg. customer service can't fix it and i'm out phone for 48hrs due to technical difficulty. NOT THE FIRST TIME I GET A LOUSY SERVICE..
I like Straight Talk but when I signed up for auto-refill it took my debit card info but then didn't give me a choice of plans... so now I'm not sure if I'm actually signed up or not (nor do I know what plan they gave me), then when I called their 800 number I keep getting a recording that says "we are busy call back later". They also don't have any email or webform to contact them, just a snale mail address.
I'm a mom and am always on the phone. I love Straighttalk for the price (what a deal $45 unlmited) and the reliable service. The phone allows me to stay connected to everyone.
BUYER BEWARE!!! I ordered 2 phones, 2 unlimited cards AND overnight shipping on 02/03/2010. It is now 02/10/2010 SEVEN days later and I don't have my phones, don't have my shipping info. The customer service is a JOKE, and completely un-helpful! SEVEN DAYS LATER and I have NOTHING but a reciept for where they TOOK ME for $800.33!!!!!!
I just LOVE this plan! Best value for money ANY carrier is offering.
@gutzy999, funny I never had any problems with my R451c. It worked a charm and I still use it all the time. That phone has seen some serious use on my $45 unlimited everything plan.
Lol.. I love this video. If your not a fan you will be now.. haha.. brilliant!
Straight talk have given me the best Unlimited deal, $45 monthly with Unlimited minutes, sms and web. There are phones for every need and non of the unnecessary charges..about time!
Whats really nice is there is no ugly bill at the end of the month. o and the r451c works just fine. Its a great lil phone which is a choice of personal style... it and Straight Talk are cool.
lots of techinical issues on that phone believe me... and lots of hell hours and days with the representatives making uir browser work.. they'l tell u they'l escalate the case and give u the case number or ticket number but they seldom work on it unless u call there corporate office which again is another representative.. u can give it a try..but gudluck!
I am thinking about getting that same very plan. Straight talk seems to be a great deal. I really enjoy the savings that straight talk offers as well, although it does seem to good to be true. Straight talk might just be for me.

Can't ask for more than that.
kobefan246 1 year ago
Same here fifagod. and yes straighttalk is amazing, one of the best deals i have ever done. I just pay $45 per month and i get my unlimited service. Btw ill beat you in fifa fifagod305

I can't get enough of these miniature comercials they're so funny and so true in some ways. It has happened to me where the bigger companies put hidden or outrages fees in the bills. However with straighttalk is always the same, no surprises, no contract and prices like $45/month for unlimited service who can compete with that.
fifagod305 1 year ago

Thefatfrosty 1 year ago
EPIC Commercial. I have their awesome unlimited plan and when I switched over, I started saving about $40. Their service is also very dependable. Never have I had a dropped call, which is something I can't say about my previous service provider. This would be a great gift for the holidays because it allows you to spread the savings
boomchaos64 1 year ago

Edkamal14 1 year ago
It didn't take a mechanical arm to point me in the right direction just a couple of great Straight Talk ads like this one! Now I'm as happy as can be on the unlimited talk, text and data plan at just $45.00 a month and the savings are mounting up in the bank!
debsumm 1 year ago
So that's how Straight talk save me $80 a month...just take out all the cr*p I don't need. And they forgot to mention that they provide way better coverage!
whipwhat101 1 year ago
"Uselysses superflous" LOL!!! Seriously though, why pay so much more for a phone and plan that are both overrated and overpriced? People need to know how much better Straight Talk is! It hurts me to know that people are wasting so much money that using Straight Talk could save. Listen people, I'm saving $50 a month compared to what I used pay on my last plan!
Thorakify 1 year ago

Just $45 dollars and unlimited text, web, minutes, and much more.
elchaparrote 1 year ago
I am also a student and now I have found another way to save my money. It is so easy to save money with the unlimited $45 a month plan. I can talk and text all i want without having to deal with overages or worrying if I pass my minutes or text limit.
AnAmorphousBlob 1 year ago
hey knicksfan you got that right. as a student i have to save money where ever i can, and with the unlimited prepaid plan from straight talk i do save a lot, but these savings do no limit me in any way, if anything i can chat and text even more than on contract, but for less money. and with straight talk there are no dropped calls and no limits
68kindredspirit 1 year ago
I work on commission and lets just say things havent been as great in years past so anywhere i can save money is a huge deal but when it comes to my cell phone i cant afford to compromise coverage. Between my girlfriend and my clients calling and texting reliability is a must. Just switched to the unlimited plan on straight talk from t mobile and im saving over 500 bucks a year and the service is great
knicksfan77 1 year ago
I have saved so much money since I switched to Stright Talk. You realise how much you get milked being on a contract because every month you get wacked with a surprise that always somehow seems to be more than the last. The unlimited Stright Talk deal is just unbeatable - $45 dollars and you can call, text, data transfer until you are blue in the face and you bill stays the same. Magic!
TheLilrascal100 1 year ago
Why does anybody still sign a contract to use a phone? Unless you're a silly person and need a mini computer and not a phone, I guess. But to talk and text like God intended, Straight Talk is perfecto for me-o! I pay $30 and get 1000 minutes to talk and also 1000 texts. How sweet is that? (Alot!!)
WillPowter 1 year ago
Straight Talk really is too good to be true. I will never look back! It is so reliable with the unbelievable coverage and as my business gets bigger and bigger I find myself doubling my time on the phone each month and I don't even have to worry about an increasing bill. I can budget for my $45 a month and leave it at that! Brilliant..
MsAshSmash 1 year ago
Straight talk really have reinvented the cell phone and kept all the good stuff like great coverage and dirt cheap data, texts and minutes. The $45 a month unlimited deal is probably the best deal out there...
NonaLoco 1 year ago
The bionic arm reminds me of the time we used to get a cellphone bill and I would scream at the kids "just look at the size of this bill" but not any more! The kids have the Straight Talk unlimited usage plan at $45.00 a month and I have the $30.00 a month plan as 1000 minutes is more than enough for me and we save money!
barrowdale 1 year ago
I'm saving at least $55/month using Straight Talk since cancelling my contract, the $30 Straight talk plan is not frugal by any means, I don't feel like I have to time my calls - half an hour a day for talking is sufficient to get all my organizing done for the day. As for the 1000 texts for the month I can't possibly use so many
rights4animals2 1 year ago
the perfect deal for the whole family, Straigth Talk plan at $3o a month works just fine for me, 1000 minutes of talking is plenty. for the kids that seem to have so much more to say to their friends the $45 a month for unlimited talk and texting is perfect. thank you. i think prepaid with Straight Talk is the way to go
babuschka42 1 year ago
"Everything you need in a cell phone, without a contract" That's exactly what they offer...and at an amazingly low price. I'm still blown away at what I've been paying and for so much less than Straight Talk is offering. It's time to jump ship and Straight Talk seems to be the best!
SimBarb1 1 year ago
Down to the bone...that's Straight Talk..no hidden agenda's or fees just the basics...unlimited calls, texts and web access for $45.00 per month and that's it...everything one could wish for from a cell phone service!
poshiedog 1 year ago
I think contracts suck because they are designed to control you & your money and to try to take money from under your nose by means of all those hidden charges and not to mention the contract cancellation fee's. Thats why I changed to Straight Talk prepaid and have thus saved about $720 over the last 12 years - these value for money packages can't be beat. One of ST edges is that their nationwide calls are the same price as a local call - thats a big saving for calling family out of state.
Suri29ify 1 year ago
LoL @ the cockroach as the hidden fees. Funny commercial but the Straight Talk deal is not funny at all because it is such an incredible deal! For $45 a month I get unlimited talk, text, web access, and free 411!
albatrossflyer1212 1 year ago
I agree with Linda...she really made me laugh but it's so true...teens have no concept of time or cost when on their phones and Straight Talk has taken a huge load of stress out of being a parent...peace of mind at $45.00 per month is a bargain! Thanks Straight Talk!
rbaylis75 1 year ago
so who invented the concept of Straight Talk?
