Ha ha Iran air can't buy any new parts or even spear-parts to it's boeing-jets, that resulted in todays crach in nort-west Iran for example whit an B 727, when is that same gonna happen their ancient B 747 SP s ??? sunday jan 09th

@sunriseman100 I agree that it's laughable at the age of their fleet, but at the same time I consider Iran Air to be a blessing, as the Iranian Air Force flies some of the first 747s ever built (including the fifth off the production line in early 1970)...because of them, it is still possible to catch jets in passenger service that would otherwise be extinct, like the 747 classics and the -SP. As somebody who experienced aviation in the late 1980s and early 1990s, Iran Air fills a gaping hole.

@jetfreak4 True mani'l agre' fully. The only carrier using the SP s. But still think that US must lift sanctions not to sell passenger jets to Iran, considering the huge risk's making home-made parts, the only way they could still be airwothy i'l figure. and the 727 s' are really laughable to..

@sunriseman100 As long as Iran continues their nuke program and our relations with them remain hostile, it's likely Iran won't get shit from Boeing. As for Airbus, I'm not sure, but it seems as though they aren't on very friendly relations with the whole U.N.
