This video featured Nic Case "Worlds Fastest R/C Driver" with the Guiness Book of World Records TOP SPEED. This was a test run on a closed oval course, which Nic also holds records for. Nic will be trying to break some records again at this facility Sunday May 23, 2010.
Tho that is fast it's not the worlds fastest. A stock Rustler VXL with 31/76 gearing and one 11.1v lipo can go over 70mph. but that is a great vid. none the less.
Yes, most of the weight is moved to the left side to keep that side of the car more planted to the track while the chassis is loaded in the corners, the G force of the car shifts so much weight the the right side of the car, with the added weight moved to the left you try to have close to equal weight when under load.

This was just a test run, the real record was way over this

Its pretty tough to go faster than 75mph on a velodrome. His straight line car has reached 161 mph.

@ecoovert
In a straight line maybe, this clearly isn't a straight line.

Why does he secure the lipo on the same side as the rest of the electronics? Is it something to do with the banking of the track?
Please answer, thanks.

I Love that Schumacher Mi-3,it's all stock, aside from the electronics layout.
At the next race, I'm shooting for a 6.5 second lap time. Encino is bumpy, & you have to drive between the black & red lines (or else).
Joe, thanks for posting it.
