what sort of review is this... he doesn't knw it has an auto rotate... you can set the orientation infact if you dont want it to rotate which is very cool. the only problem with this is that you need android 2.2 or more to be able to use video chat on skype or flash player in the browsers :(

@sjstephy if you live in australia from telstra, it retails at $299 AUD but its not a capacity screen its touch resistive. but if you want a budget tablet its a good way to go.

I think it is time to look back at this device. A lot has changed since July, the small design details that were there back than are not any more. Screen is smoother and is resistive. Camera on back added as you also said and other than the homescreen, it can autorotate. I have seen in a video it is using multi-touch in browser but couldn't find it in any other video. I really hope you try to grab this tablet to show us in detail, I am so very interested to buy this one.

definitely Resistive screen. Note the calibration settings. Not sure why you bothered to come back with video playback if you weren't actually going to let anything play for more than 3 seconds.

@philipcarol would be nice if they did, but no one else doing anything similar for $200 - in the UK dell streak is £400, so this for £300 is a bargain here, though I'd like everything to be cheaper :) - but all other 'similar' tablets don't run 2.1, don't have market place and have far slower processors and ram. Think it's the best in field for the price for now.

At last a 7inch tablet with a capacitive screen, decent processor and android 2.1! The only thing I don't like very much is the silver-shiny thing at the back. If this comes with android market, is upgradable to android 2.2 and costs no more than 300 dollars I will buy it for sure. Anyone knows when this is coming to the stores?

Wow, other than the shape I like just everything about it. I specially love the kick-stand (or should it be called stand?) well other tablets should do this type of full stand for better stability on surface. Design is "ok" and acceptable. Maybe if they get rid of silver border, replace it with black something non-reflective like brushed-metal then it be very very nice. Cursor pointer is another good featuer that other tablets should include as must-have.
