This reminds of stepping around the track in a foot+ of snow in Great Falls, Montana when I was 15 then running laps and time trials around that. It was cold as heck but great memories.
My granddaughter had the experience of being on the Kodiak Cross country team with Trevor. I live in Anchorage and was very fortunate to was her and Trevor compete in Regionals and State. This kid, Trevor, is great and Alexis learned very much during the season.
