  • i have always noticed mainly with the nfl players when they bench its like they drop the bar on the chest so friggin hard.... should they be doing that?

  • @nygiantsable Stretch-reflex? Helps the bar go back up. If you pause, you have to push harder at the bottom (although this makes you stronger in the long run)

  • I think it would be cool if all the guys said their names and schools like they do before NFL games. Might make it easier to follow them along.

  • Hi Joe. Looks like you have some pretty crazy beasts again this year. I was just wondering, with the band resisted kbell swings, is that to speed up the eccentric and create a greater stretch reflex at the bottom? I could be way off base but it sure looks like an interesting variation.

  • @firenaut The band KB swing mimmicks olympic lifting perfectly without the years of training required. It works the triple extension for vertical jumping and is one hell of an exercise if done correctly. Lots of people are fooled by the girly band and they are the ones on the floor unconscious afterwards. I dont do them for reps but for a time limit. Say 30 seconds or 1 minute and see how many reps i can get out. Not sure what bands they are using but i use a 30kg resistance band.

  • @adarqui hes definitely strong as hell, but he needs to lock out his arms all the way as joe is telling him in the video (which he didn't do)
