It is funny to read all over that som many think that the original norwegian girl is blond and with blue eyes.
SO WRONG.. The original girl from way back is has pale skin, some with freckles. And they have red/bronzed colour hair in diffrent tone and green and blue eyes.
Like me... lol.
I am so HAPPY that I am not blond, couse blonds have hard time to get respect and to be taken seriously. (blond =stupid and pinup girl. ) That is what to many thinks of blond girls here. To bad.

wtf.. oki.. first part kinda ok.. and if you are glad that u arn't blond whit blue eyes when your a redhead freckleface maybe i am dumb and blond for not understanding it.. i have never been called dumb just because of my hair colur.. and evrybody knows blonds have ore fun anyway..+ now a days most norwegian girls are blond..

Hehe,those girls must been hiding, couse I dont see much of them, like those with darker hair.I do travel alot in my country;)
Light brown it is alot of yeas,but not real blond.The reputation of blond girls from NO is sadly bad,especially in turkey.Sex symbol, easy to get in bed etc. I was a fake blond when I was younger,never agian.And today it is still very popular among young girls to bleach their hair, to be more "popular" among boys. Wonder why;)

And I know blonds in div.companies and they have to work MUCH harder to get the same respect/accept than woman with darker hair. It has even been in the media;)They are also more exposed to sex harassment at work and on the streets.The blonds are not more stupid than others at all, would have been interesting to know how,why and when this reputation started.And why it is still alive in 2008.

wtf? I can't understand what you say if you are really living in Norway. I never thought it. I think Norway have one of the best behavier. Maybe you think they're proud to have white bred but if it's true, it doesn't really matter unless it becomes racism like caste system in India or racism in US or aristogenics stuff.

ok.. part about turkey... but i have personally never experienced that i have to work harder to be respected then a girl whit dark hair.. so that part i don't agree on..
and also i turkey the the girls they think of as a easy lai is mostly british girls.. but sadly the men down there are very pushi if you are just girls.. i was there a year a go and im going there again on the 24..

but here in norway it is totally diffrent, because in turkey it is so diffrent for them whit blond girls, they only know of them what they have seen on tv or heard.. here in norway it is so normal to be blond that un less u really are stupid you get treted whit the same respect as evrybody else.. i speak from experience..

allegedly in Scandinavia the political/real MEN really look after the OLD girlZ. The pensioners there live like like KINGs. They have the best quality social care system in the world. Old age men and woMEN R the wealthiest, (much) better off than other Western countries and obviously East Europeans former Soviet block. Are you really Norwegian? No I don't think so. Why are you speaking English lol And what you try to talk about turkey is wrong too. Turkey prefer durker black hair much more than blond. They're proud of their looking which is more near to Armenian, that's quite different from North or West Europians.

oki..wtf.. norwegians start learning english when we are 6..so yeah we speak it pretty good.. and actually iv been to turkey 2 times and they go crazy after white grirls..trust me, have you ever even been to turkey?. most of the younger ones have norwegian or swedish girlfriends, and now i am speaking of the turist citis like alanya or marmais.. and hey actually not all norwegian girls have blue eyes and blond hair.. wtf. skjerp deg din lille nerd, gidd ikke høre på all den dritten..seriøst

Study anthropology. Freck face and red hair? you meant talking about native Celt. Today's Norwegian are one of the most dense land of typical white bred (blonde hair and blue eyes). But also there is black hair or many kinds of people exist and if you look up IceLand, there is quite many celt, not as many as Ireland but it's on the next, so it's quite a lot, they're also living in scandinavia too. So you are the one of them. Nothing matters with that.

That's interesting - because I can usually recognize a scandinavian woman woman who is visiting here in Seattle - and there is a lot of Norwegian and Sweedish genes in Seattle.
It may be the clothes/style? Many times the stocking hats or eye glasses are a dead give-away! *L*
I am a native Minnesotan, from a very Norwegian town and (half) family, and went to a Norwegian Lutheran college, so I guess it's the norm for me. My mothers side was from Bergen & Lillehammer - Knudsen & Luckason

emh..oki..wtf.. unless they had a really good job, our pensioners are not really more velthy than other people, actually its kinda the opisit, they don't have a lot of money, and som of them kinda struggle.. but still its better than most parts of the world.. being norwegian i know swedish, its a fun language:P:)
