Yes. Fly the USA's flag for a hymn written by a German who lived in England and wrote it about god... However Excellent execution of the hymn! top notch.
@hatstalker I'm an American why wouldn't I include a shot of my flag, I believe that any good and virtue in my country is attributed to the one whom Glory is due, namely Jesus!
Very Nice Job! You know, I love and value the smaller Pipe Organs more so over the large ones. Excellent job of getting the most out it too. It takes a more skilled Organist to bring more out of the smaller organs than it does a large one! Also, very nice perfect sounding reverberation from the room its in. I would love to play this one.
@ns9987 Thanks, the organ is a 1947 Shantz, where are you generally located, if it's close maybe you'll be able to play it sometime. I agree about the value of the small organs, they are becoming extinct due to the cost of maintenance, we put about 30 grand into new chests recently, very glad we did.
That is such a nice little console. I've recently been getting much better at hymn playing, although I must admit some of them are a nightmare to sight read.
No its just 7 ranks. Their are a few contiguous ranks the principal 8 4 and 2 are one long rank, the bourdon 16, 8, 4 and 2 are one long rank. Then the couplers provide a lot of flexibility for the instrument. No digital at all, pretty cool huh?!
Love it. Very clean playing.

I know some of them are really hard to play. One I think you would enjoy is the tune Lyngham. Let me know what you think of it!

Nice sound for seven ranks! Like the horseshoe console too! The video editing makes me think you've seen The Joy of Music :-)

This is a very nice arrangement of a favorite Easter hymn. Beautifully done. Thanks, Jonathan for posting this. He is risen indeed!

Wonderful Jonathan. Beautifully played. Love the Shantz organ, although only 7 rands it packs a powerful sound.
Best Regards, Roy
