The roman catholic church is the same people who crucified our savior, converted themselves to christianity to rule the masses, changed the sabbath to Sunday in honor of their sun god,and is secretly worshipping the antichrist. We are not to bare false witness, worship idols(the cross),or his image(paintings drawings of jesus christ.Btw his hebrew name is Yeshua...
He that believeth in him is not condemned, but he that believeth not is condemned already because he hath not believed on the name of the only begotten Son of God John 3:18
everyone if you are not reading what the scriptures says and not just listening to what you are taught you need to read not just hear only because as some of you put it the new testament came about from the very written and what was written in "the old" as you also call it,How can anyone not understand from this "early apostles said this not me" SIN IS THE TRANSGRESSION OF THE LAW !! And some who say those laws are gone or done away with,Then you did not read this"we establish the LAW " !!
also to you Rogueoftroy -hey I will also say this to you and end it this way, they that are carnal will not receive the things that are spiritually decerned and no one comes to the Father unless He draws them it is so plain to see those things that are spiritual and what Our Great Lord and Redeemer has came and done,When JESUS said on these two hang the rest of the commandments how can anyone think they are done away or destroyed how can they hang on something Gone !!!
Rogueoftroy-- ,Well As My Lord has told me let him be ignorant,Also he told me that I have delivered my soul from your blood,so as you have put it be free,Because He has said the rightous man that sins or transgresses against his commandments will die and all his rightousness will not be remembered because of that transgression,So as you have said you are free by faith to not keep His Laws and Commandments !!
Rogueoftroy - the first command they were talking about was the "first" deal with our relationships to each other as was all those other ones got it !!They(all early writers) would never use some(commandments) and say the others"do not apply to us any longer" The only Laws JESUS completed was moses' laws which deal with "sacrifices" HE is and was the Lamb of GOD which took away the Sins of the World(everyone) so in reading all scriptures and putting them together we know now !!!
@alphaldm The entire OT law is passed out of usage. :: nom nom noms on the bacon :: Just as Paul told the Corinthians in I Cor 8, when they were dealing with people like you...I'm sorry you have a weak conscience and consider everything you come across to be a sin. I will not flaunt my liberty in front of you, but don't expect me to adopt your views which are contradictory to the New Testament.
Of course Paul preached in the synagogue on Saturday. That's the day people were there. If he'd have preached on Sunday, it would have been empty. That's hardly reason to say we are still under the Law of Moses. We are now under the Law of Christ. Don't go quoting Levirate law to me like I'm bound to it, Mr. Man. Yes, the OT law passed away, including the 10 Commandments! I don't murder my neighbor bc Jesus' law says to love him! Not because of what it says in Exodus!
@Rogueoftroy The Sabbath was before Moses it was from Creation and Jesus said if you love me Keep my commandments or does it just apply when we want it to?
@Tang0Fox1 Jesus' commandments were to 1) Love God with everything within you and 2) Love your neighbor as yourself. He came to fulfill the OT law so that we could be freed from it. Romans 14:1-6. Paul deals with the freedom from OT law in many many places. You can keep it and feel that it is special (to appease what Paul calls your weak conscience) if you want. Bless you for caring enough to try, even if you are wrong. But as the passage in Romans says, don't dare judge me for knowing better.
@Rogueoftroy To respond to your first point. The so called NEW law of Jesus was the same law of love that existed before Creation and before the Fall. In Malachi 3:6 it states that ".. I am the LORD, I change not, therefore you sons of Jacob are not consumed". God's law of love is eternal and existed as long as God has. So I totally agree with you that Jesus' law of love is what we are to follow.
To further explain the Ten Commandements were placed on two tablets of stone..
@Rogueoftroy 'YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND.' This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: 'YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.' On these two commandments "HANG" all the Law and the Prophets."
(Mat 22:37-40) ---What did Jesus mean by the word "hang"? Well let's see. **continued**
According to the Esword Word study, "Figuratively, followed by "en" (Which in our language, "On") (G1722), in. In Mat_22:40, the expression possibly being a metaphor taken from the custom mentioned by Tertullian of hanging up the laws in a public place to be seen of all men. This would imply that all of the Law and the prophets are succinctly CONTAINED in the precepts here mentioned, setting forth our duty to GOD AND MAN." **Continued**
One of the Thayer definitions for the word "hang" says, "used of the Law and the Prophets, they is summed up or hanging on two precepts". Now any honest bible student that reads the Ten Commandments will agree and admit; The first four commandments deals our "duty" to God and the last six deal with our duty to our fellow man. With that said, Jesus did not "do away" with the Ten Commandments, he "summed" them up into two.
@Rogueoftroy Now its funny how Paul says things like this: "Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law." (Rom 3:31) "Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good." (Rom 7:12) "Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing, but the keeping of the commandments of God." (1Co 7:19) "What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid." (Rom 6:15) What is sin? **cont.**
@Rogueoftroy This is all you are getting here is this; And you had better get your thinking cap on and let God teach you here.you said PAUL in writings said this or that ok, Here it is all the early writers as john, peter, paul, james, and all the others used the commandments to share with those at that time and here in our time and here it is,read all of their writings ok. In their writings they would tell children to obey their paients for "this is the first commandment" continue on top -
we should bring back stoneings and ban freedom of speach and other human rights for they are created by the evil pagan free mansony and atheist and everbody knows that free mansonys and atheist are part of the ILLUNIMATI
i belive in god and i had an islamic background. i studied islam and had lots of questions. this guy is really smart and i think that jesus christ is the way of the truth. christianity is peace . i ll make a research about it . i hope that i ll see the light. satan blinded us all those years. thnx for this great video
I like how this guy leaves out versus that would contradict him. Due diligence, read the word and study.
Gal: 3, 15 to 25.
Tithing is not required but preachers have convinced many it is. You have to seek truth and not be lead by these men.
Read all the scripture regarding the sabbath and seek Yahweh for truth and he will guide you. Do not trust man, hear what they say then seek the word. Not just the verse quoted, but those before it and after it.
@Chuckles5050 He doesn't leave it out. This only a short clip of the whole sermon. You can watch the video at amazingfacts in the prophecy seminars. I have also a link in my youtube profile.
The whole vid is much longer and contains a lot more information. Take care and god bless.
If Hebrews 4 teaches we are to keep the weekly Sabbath, then why does the text say we are to enter a rest that none of the Jews at the time of Joshua in the Promised Land ever experienced in v 8?
Lets look a bit closer at the correct interpretation shall we
Lets jump right into the passage (read 4:1-9). What is he talking about? One thing is clear—he is saying that the blessing of Gods rest is available to us today. He asserts this three times (4:1,6,9).
His point is that although the Old Testament spoke of two restsit also clearly spoke of another future and greater rest that Gods people could enter into.
There was the weekly Sabbath rest-rest from physical labor on SaturdayGen.2:2,3 says that God rested after his creation of the earth-not because he was tired, but because he was finished with the work. And the Israelites were invited to enter into Gods creative rest by not working on Satur and trusting that God would provide for them
But this wasnt the only rest God offered Israel in the Old Testament. He also offered them the Promised Land and rest from their enemies.
He said he would go before them and defeat their enemies so that they could live securely in the land he had given them (Deut.12:9,10). All they had to do was trust him and go into the land—and he would protect them so that they could settle in the land and live securely.
the Exodus generation forfeited this rest because they refused to trust Gods promise by going into the land. But the subsequent generation did trust God, and following Joshua they entered this rest.
But even this wasnt the ultimate rest that God offered his people. 400 year later, with the Israelites living securely in the land, David in Ps.95 speaks of yet another rest that Gods people could enter. --
-- this implies that a greater Joshua (Hebrew version of the Aramaic Jesus) would yet provide a greater rest—the rest of salvation that the Messiah would offer when he came.
Both of the previous rests pointed to/foreshadowed this Messianic rest.
Now Jesus the Messiah has come, and his rest of salvation is available to everyone who comes to him.
Jesus spoke of this rest in Matt.11:28-30 (read). What a beautiful image!
So why did Jesus die on the cross? I don't condemn anyone who chooses to adhere to this law. However, God/Jesus knew man would be totally confused and without understanding. Thus, he died on the Cross for our sins and lack of understanding. Worship truly in your heart. "Abide in Him." and you shall be forgiven! Keep the command if you wish - you will be blessed for sure!

We either stand or fall before the word of God.now at :43 the writer speaks of the rest that his reign will bring to us who shall be changed and delievered from our fleshly selves.
I have become all things to all men so that by all means I might save some.
Lastly at 3:00 it must be understood that Matt, gospel was written to the Jews, neither Mark nor Luke mention the sabbath as does Matt, for it speaks to the Jews n not to us.
John 14:15...If you love God keep His commandments.
So, you want grace to excuse you from the this act of love to God??
There is nothing wrong with any of the commandmets as all 10 are perfect, so why not try to follow God's perfect ways? Are you not what you do? The man who does filthy things is filthy and the man who does good things is good. I
t is good to follow all 10 of the commandments so why not do what is good?
@8Anya8 So if we really are not "under the law but under grace" anymore, then if I kill or steal or cheat on my wife, it will be nothing against God!! Because we're "under grace" now, right?
Oh, unspeakable absurdity! To try to fully comprehend how illogical and revolting it is to the conscience that the Moral Law is no longer binding upon His creatures is infinitely ludicrous.
It is written!! "Do we then annul the law because we're under grace? God forbid! Rather, we uphold the law."
@8Anya8 ".........., just our dear brother Paul also wrote to you with the wisdom that God gave him. He writes the same way in all his letters, speaking in them of these matters. His letters contain some things that are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction. Therefore,......, be on your guard so that you may not be carried away by the error of lawless men and fall from your secure position." -- 2 Peter 3:15-17
we gave up being perfect because we did not do as god said, jesus died for our sins and even thou we are meant to keep god's commandments,we are not perfect! Hence everybody sins one way or another and going to church on sunday is not going to save you.and yes the catholic church continues to deceive all christians...religion is made by man not god..believe in god and jesus as your savior.....
Going to church on Saturday won't save you either, nor will God recognize you as his child just because you keep the sabbath, that isn't the sign of his children anymore.

Amen. We have the Holyspirit now. And we receive the HolySpirit by Faith in Our Blessed saviour Jesus Christ. Not by keeping the Mosaic Law that Christ redeemed us from.
It's a good thing he redeemed us from it, or we wouldn't have a hope in the world. Because now and forever we'd have been found guilty of that law if it wasn't for Jesus Christ.
Thankfully, by his life, death and obedience, he, forever, satisfied the wrath of God on our behalf.
@vaderlives006 Well said! I have to agree on what you say. There should NEVER have being a WAR in Heaven in the first place? Otherwise there would NEVER have being EVILS and What NOT? WE wouldn't have to die or Go to "HELL"

NO flesh will be justified by the law! The Word of Jesus Christ seas "He who believes and is baptized will be saved!" (It DOES NOT SAY HE WHO BELIEVES IS BAPTISED AND KEEPS THE SABITH WILL BE SAVED!) If you keep any part of the law you must keep it all! We are saved by the righteousness of Jesus Christ imputed to the believer who has obeyed the Gospel of Jesus Christ! NOT by the works of the law, that we do or do not do!

For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. Colossians 2:16-17 (King James Version) 16Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: 17Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.
The Sabbath Days here are is actually "Sabbatwn" (plural), or "Sabbaths", in which is referring to those Sabbath Feast Days where the meat and drink offerings were held. See Nehemiah 10:33 and Ezekiel 45:17. Sabbath was not a shadow pointing forward, it pointed backward to Creation. Verse 17 says "which are a shadow", so all you have to do is figure out which ones are shadows, and it becomes clear. I don't know what it takes to get these points across through your thick lawless skulls.
If plural (sabbaths) means the sabbath feast days, then it is the sabbath feast days that were signs, and not the seventh day sabbath:
Exd 31:13 Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep: for it [is] a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that [ye] may know that I [am] the LORD that doth sanctify you.
Plural is also used in Eze 20:12 and Ezekiel 20:20. I'm afraid either that means the annual sabbaths are the sign...
I just want to remind readers here that if the plural usage of sabbath means sabbath feast days then that means you cannot use any of the old testament verses that refer to the sabbaths as a sign to try and prove that the seventh day sabbath is a sign because any verse that declares that uses "sabbaths"(plural) and not "sabbath".
For example:
Exd 31:13 Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep: for it [is] a sign....

THE GOSPEL IS NOT ASKING MEN TO LIVE THE CHRIST LIFE. (Part 1) It is to surrender and let Christ live his life through you wile you live and abide in Christ within, in Spirit and truth (In faith according to his Word) NOT in a context of legalism or a works type of self justification, but in faith according to spirit and truth!
What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him? If a brother or sister be naked, and distitute of daily food, and one of you say unto them, depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled?;notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body;what doth it profit?
EVEN SO FAITH, IF IT HATH NOT WORKS, IS DEAD, BEING ALONE. Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?
Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?..Ye see then how that by works a man is justified and not by faith only. Ya'acob oldest brother of Yashua James Chapter 2.
@RewYnd It could be this... We are the disciples of God, what people see in us, see Christ also. We are the salt of the earth. We are the light of the world. We are like His representative here in the earth as Christ followers at the same time we live in Him, that means that we do what He tells us to do or through Him we live. I think this is how it is... This is just my own understanding. Let me know if I misunderstood it. Thanks.

(Part 2)If your salvation depends upon you living the Christ life, your are just as good as checked for Hell, for you never can live it in yourself. It is utterly impossible. But the very first message of the Gospel is the story of the vicarious atonement of Christ. He did not come to tell men how to live in order that they might save themselves
Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;
God said remember the Sabbath referring to the perpetual rest that is in him and NOT to be so caught up by the world and life in the flesh but to concentrate in new life in him in the spirit. After creation God entered this perpetual Sabbath rest which Adam broke and Jesus Christ reestablished.
Amazing Facts! Is preaching a new testament type of legalism which is 7th day Adventism. They are saying out of one side of there mouth saved by grace and out of the other side of there mouth saved by obedience (of law) or legalism. We obey out of love, those saved by grace who died in Jesus Christ. Not by works of the law or legalism.
If the law could save Christ would not of had to come at all let alone die on the cross. The New Covenant was establish between God the Father and Jesus Christ (God the Son) so it could not be broken. Thus full filling mans obligation to God for all those who DIED (past tense) in Jesus Christ, under the law. Now we are under Grace and obey Gods law out of love, NOT out of obligation, legalism or self justification.
I fail to see what your concern is. Let me quote YOU: "Now we are under Grace and obey Gods law out of love, NOT out of obligation, legalism or self justification" How is this different than what the preacher is saying? We keep God's law out of LOVE. your argument appears to encourage people to NOT keep God's law. the goal i thought was to encourage people to obey God due to Love not simply by following rules. Because some ppl keep the 10 as a show doesn't mean they aren't to be kept
Christians must become aware of the dispensational authority of God or many things will be taken out of there God given context. one dispensational period does not apply to the other. We are now in the dispensation of grace, not under the law. We now obey Gods laws out of love and obedience, not to justified by the laws. He who loves me will obey me. Saved by grace and NOT THE LAW.
As to the Sabbath of the old testament law if you keep any part of the law you must keep all of it... We are saved by Grace not the law. The New Testament Sabbath can be of your choosing. Christ said the Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath.
hey it is not just the 10 commandments but also the Holy days of Leviticus and the clean and unclean foods list as well. along with the rest of Torah, the Prophets, and the words of Messiah in Matthew,John, and Revelation.
This man says nothing that isn't biblical or common sense. The catholic church was NOT founded by the apostles obviously..(study history). Be faithful and study the bible & u'll c for urself that the Sabbath should be kept holy...it was kept holy all thru the bible and will be kept holy in heaven. Remember 2 Tim 3:16: All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for DOCTRINE, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. If u love Jesus, u keep His word!
The man in the video is yet another blind guide, ... sincere, .... but sincerely wrong.
Do you really think that Jesus, in His desire for ONE Church, left a book for men to argue over the meaning of, for almost 2000 years?
Jesus left a Church! A Church with mere, sinful, mortal men in authority. A Church that can be traced back to the Apostles. The Catholic Church and no other.
He says we should take off a day and during the time in the bible it doesn't make it very clear for me, but i believe that saturday or sunday is pretty close to the sabbath day or else we wouldn't have those days legally off now, according to how most people work, seize the day.
I usually don't chime in often on these debates but i had to say something. Jesus doesn't say take off a day. If you read the account in the beginning with Genesis...this was no ordinary day . He blessed it, sanctified it, set it apart. that doesn't sound like he is picking a random moment or a random day for any of us to pick..thursday, friday, tuesday. for God to bless it and go through the "formality" it must mean something. I've been convinced for years that the bible sabbath is lasting.
The dispensational period of the law of Exodus does not apply to the dispensational period of Grace which we are now under , for those who have died in Jesus Christ. This is one of the main causes of miss application do to the miss understanding of the Word of God in it's proper context as we attempt to live it out in our daily lives.
If you were born on Friday, your Sabbath is Thursday. 7 days..think about it. Stop with the pathetic Sat/Sun garbage. What DAY of the week was the first day? No one knows! God says to take a day off..legalism..I hate it..
so if u disreguard the whole old testiment then i guess its okay to kill lie steal. theres no new coventant this was the plan from the beginning Luke CH.1.. faith with no works is dead. they go hand and hand.
Jesus died on Friday (work). Nothing happened on Saturday - Jesus remained dead (rest). God resurrected Jesus on Sunday (work). I have struggled with this issue for so long. So many lies! I really feel now after much prayer we need to be observing Saturday.
The Catholic Church alone changed the Sabbath from Saturday to Sunday. She alone, being a divine institution founded by Jesus Christ, had the power and the authority to make this change and even the Reformers kept her teaching.
And I will give unto thee [Peter} the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
Jesus founded the Catholic Church and it is the only Church worth belonging to.
This business of saying that the book of Rev. calls the Catholic Church the great whore began in the 1800's and was started by an anti-Catholic man named Alexander Hislop who wrote a book called The Two Babylons.
Do yourself a favor and learn the history of the Church that Christ founded. Read the Bible and then the writings of the Early Church Fathers.
This is said out of love! My father is Catholic and I love him very much. A Christian is a follower of Christ, not a follower of the Church. Christ said in John 14:15 "if you love Me keep My commandments." Not saying those who worship on Sunday are wicked, saying they have been deceived. Satan is Father of Lies and caused man's very fall with the telling of a lie. Satan wants to kill you. When a man who is honestly mistaken hears the truth,he will either quit being mistaken or cease to be honest
Isa. 5:20 woe to those who call good evil and evil good.
Somewhere along the line some blind teacher told us to disregard the God of the Old Testiment as if he changed over night. woe to you who still fellow God blindly.
Paul wasn't saying to discard the Sabbath, that would go against the very teachings of Christ, he said let not man JUDGE you!
still observe. Pray before you go off on someone teaching... they may have a great word for you
No flesh will be justified by the law. Read your bible. (The New Covenant). Want to live by the law? Go right ahead. My bible tells me that the law is a ministry of death. I'll take Jesus and Jesus ALONE:)
Paul is addressing Jews informing them that " by the Law is the knowledge of sin". Paul even admits not knowing sin but by the LAW. He needed to read and understand the LAW or he wouldn't even know what was SIN.
Let's face it friend if we srtive to walk in the footsteps of Christ we will no longer be bound by the LAW. But if we have a consistent sin in our live, or sinning in our daily walk, then who are we kidding?
Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the COMMANDMENTS of God, and the faith of Jesus. REV.14:12
BLESSED are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth yes, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them. REV.14:13
Blessed are they that DO his COMMANDMENTS that they may have right to the tree of life, and enter in through the gates of the city.REV.22:14 I rest every Sabbath, God-bless Brother.
@andyboots37,Christ said be doers of the word and not just hearers only.!? For not the hearers of the law shall be just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.!?(1John5:3)For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments/plural, and his commandments are not grievous. And the sabbath day is the forth commandment, Christ say's in Matthew, those who teach others to break his Father's law, will be called the least in the kingdom, and those teaching it will be called great?
As christians we understand that we are Saved by Grace. But as you mentioned above.. we are obedient to God out of Love. We are not justified by the law, we keep it out of obedience. Think about this...is it ok to kill? cheat on my wife? or steal? When it comes to this commandement that says "Remember", there is always an outcry that the Law is no longer valid. Wives shouldn't be angry for wondering husbands then... either all 10 commandments are valid or they aren't.
This man is totally ignorant to the New Covenant. Romans 10:4 Jesus Christ is THE END OF THE LAW FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS TO THOSE THAT BELIEVE. Galatians 2:21 IF RIGHTEOUSNESS COMES BY THE LAW, THEN CHRIST DIED IN VAIN. 1 Cor 15:56 THE STING OF DEATH IS SIN; AND THE STRENGTH OF SIN IS THE LAW.
Everything changed at the cross. Jesus was born under and IS THE FULFILLMENT OF THE LAW. He did it all. This man is deceived or he has an agenda. Don't buy it, no flesh shall be justified by the law.
dude then why do you follow any human laws at all, you are thereby justifying slavery, rape and every other human injustice by your comments... infact by your comments there is no reason for me to follow any law whatsoever so i could kill you with a clear conscience right?
The roman catholic church is the same people who crucified our savior, converted themselves to christianity to rule the masses, changed the sabbath to Sunday in honor of their sun god,and is secretly worshipping the antichrist. We are not to bare false witness, worship idols(the cross),or his image(paintings drawings of jesus christ.Btw his hebrew name is Yeshua...

Rogueoftroy 8 months ago

**continued**
menacesta 7 months ago 3
The Greek word used here is "kremannumi".
According to the Esword Word study, "Figuratively, followed by "en" (Which in our language, "On") (G1722), in. In Mat_22:40, the expression possibly being a metaphor taken from the custom mentioned by Tertullian of hanging up the laws in a public place to be seen of all men. This would imply that all of the Law and the prophets are succinctly CONTAINED in the precepts here mentioned, setting forth our duty to GOD AND MAN." **Continued**
menacesta 7 months ago 4
One of the Thayer definitions for the word "hang" says, "used of the Law and the Prophets, they is summed up or hanging on two precepts". Now any honest bible student that reads the Ten Commandments will agree and admit; The first four commandments deals our "duty" to God and the last six deal with our duty to our fellow man. With that said, Jesus did not "do away" with the Ten Commandments, he "summed" them up into two.

Read all the scripture regarding the sabbath and seek Yahweh for truth and he will guide you. Do not trust man, hear what they say then seek the word. Not just the verse quoted, but those before it and after it.

Again 2:25 must be taken in context.
I have become all things to all men so that by all means I might save some.
Lastly at 3:00 it must be understood that Matt, gospel was written to the Jews, neither Mark nor Luke mention the sabbath as does Matt, for it speaks to the Jews n not to us.

The question is not 'did the sabbath' change, because we know that God's word changes not.
The real question is are we living under law or grace?
Im sorry but men who preach another gospel need to be rebuked.
Paul wrote to Timothy whose father was a Greek and whose mother was a Jewess to be weary of this kind of false teaching.
They want to be teachers of the law, but they do not know what they are talking about or what they so confidently affirm.

Colossians 2:16-17 (King James Version) 16Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: 17Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.
WITNESSMINISTRIES 2 years ago

WITNESSMINISTRIES 2 years ago
If the law could save Christ would not of had to come at all let alone die on the cross. The New Covenant was establish between God the Father and Jesus Christ (God the Son) so it could not be broken. Thus full filling mans obligation to God for all those who DIED (past tense) in Jesus Christ, under the law. Now we are under Grace and obey Gods law out of love, NOT out of obligation, legalism or self justification.

We keep God's law out of LOVE. your argument appears to encourage people to NOT keep God's law. the goal i thought was to encourage people to obey God due to Love not simply by following rules. Because some ppl keep the 10 as a show doesn't mean they aren't to be kept

This business of saying that the book of Rev. calls the Catholic Church the great whore began in the 1800's and was started by an anti-Catholic man named Alexander Hislop who wrote a book called The Two Babylons.

Agreed.... Did God say "Remember" in anticipation that we would "Forget" the Sabbath Day???.....
