I think Rolan's musical and singing talents are just fine. It would be super tough to sing a T. Rex or Marc Bolan song similarly to the way Marc sang, so I think Rolan just shouldn't bother. He should do his own music and see how that goes. As for anyone else trying to cover T.Rex or Marc Bolan, they're better off really giving it their own spin as best they can. Don't try to sing it the way Marc did, because you won't be able to. I'd like to see what else Rolan comes out with.

I dont care what anyone says - it was wonderful to hear this talented mans voice. Of course there are going to be comparisons to his father - that is only natural, and of course I can hear the soulful tones of Marc in Rolans voice, but Rolan is a gifted performer in his own right. Perhaps we can all reach a compromise? Maybe we can all agree that Rolan is his own musician, but one who also carries the legacy of his father?
