@djmarcelca ok i thought so.. but still i'm lucky @virtual dj 7 and that is because they added the option to prefade listening with the "left" and "right" side of the headphone.. . If you prefade listen just put the one side of the headphone(the master channel) away from your ear and listen only to other side that you want to mix in and yep.. you can pfl(prefadelisten)good.. .
i am trying to set up my headphones but i dont know how. I have a desktop computer and i have my speakers plugged in to the back of my computer. I also have another green plug-in jack for headphones in the front of my computer. i think my sound card is 4.1 or better because i go to control panel>hardware and sound>Realtek Hd Audio Manager and under speaker configuration i can choose 4/4.1, 5.1, or 7.1 but i dont know what to do. Can anyone help?
In Windows, you should be able to find it in something like System Properties or the Direct X Diagnostics (hit Windows Key + R which takes you to run, then type in "dxdiag" and hit enter).
One of those should tell you your sound card. I don't have a sound card, so it's a bit hard for me to verify.
If you ONLY use a headphone as output is it then still possible to prefade listen the song WITHOUT TO HEAR THE OTHER in virtual dj pro 7?

@Fadur2 No you must use at least 2 output jacks.
