  • BLACK COFFEE,,,,,rename this vid........

  • By the way, the lyric is

    "love's a hand-me-down broom

I've never known a Sunday in this weekday room"

  • amazing,what a talent! peace

  • Although I never really liked this song very much, Sarah does a great job with it. Peggy Lee has a nice version also.

  • Message to Ijliljohn Indeed, Peggy Lee interpretated this title too- but I find that the voice of Sarah ("smoky", cloudy) corresponds better to the message of this title. Excuse my english! I'm ashamed of it! Greatings from Germany!

  • This version of "Black Coffee" of course is the best! The pictures are really good too! I used to have this song and played it on the vitrola all the time!

  • #And stay at home to tend her oven.... # To me, this is the best part of the song, she makes it sound so heartfelt and real. I am falling in love with this ladies voice... R.I.P Ms Vaughan xXx

  • Sarah has been a favorite of mine for over thirty years, and this is another reason why. She's just as beautiful as her voice too!

  • great stuff! kd lang also did a great version of this track on her 'shadowlands' lp. and, after hearing them both, i think its an absolute tie.

  • big way, i mean

  • Sarah is the best jazz singer ever. she's my favorite singer. i hope she'll always get the recognition she deserves. signed one of her biggest fans Sandra Johnson

  • marianne faithfull has just covered this song, and has done it justice in a bit way, you should check it out

  • I have no words, only 5* !

  • Smooth as silk!

  • Brilliant SONG!!!

  • Yanipooh,,,That photo was featured on her album with George Shearing if im not mistaken! Shearing was a pianist

  • Love this song!

  • I remember listening to some of my dad's old records in the garage and this is the one I would listen to all the time, since then i've been a jazz lover.

  • nohogirl, doesn't she have the most divine voice? Love this cut.

  • she looks soo hot at 1:42

  • I just heard this song! I think it is amazing!!!!!!
