The universe is an illusion as he says because it doesn't exist, at least not the way you think. The only thing that exists is CONSCIOUSNESS. The whole world you think is "out there" is actually IN your consciousness. The universe that appears to be "out there" isn't out there at all. There is no blue, no middle C, no hot and cold, no matter, no time, but in your consciousness. Read the Shiva Sutras.

I don't understand why we have to conclude that the Universe is an illusion, only based on the fact that the Universe is a fractal. I submit that the physical plane is exactly what we think it is, physical and it is also a fractal. There is also the Mental Plane which is also a Fractal and the Spiritual Plane, also a Fractal.

i feel that i should have been died many a times..from cars crashes, vending machines falling on me, MRSA and many more. Can we die to self?..MY GOD is everything and everything in it's self. Yeah, I assume you're talking about the eye? It's strange to think that everything around us is in effect without colour, or in darkness - only our eye translates light bouncing off objects.. We say the sky is blue but other creatures, with different physiologies see it as different colours to us. Interesting talk, we are all connected to the Universe and creation - I also believe that we are all essentially 'God'.
