Listen people, people talking during blitz is not distracting...people talk to each other when playing blitz chess...this is not regular chess....just listen to all the other people talking in the background. Keep in mind that this is an exhibition game. Maurice is the best announcer the chess world has. He was praised for his analysis and announcing furing the US Championship.

good idea keeping chess entertaining maybe distracting for players but it doesnt matter they lose or win its just for fun and i think they asked players before the game or is it ok to comment games

I am surprised that niether carlsen or kasparov turned around and said to the announcer," can you please be quiet , your talking way too much, thanks!" It doesnt matter if the announcer is a GM, he is not playing and should only comment when carlsen or kasparov checks or checkmates the players.
