the version i have is on a record (vinyl) called ""ROKY AND THE ALIENS""and this song is on there but MUCH MUCH heavier and way better it freaking rocked my worldi am a gen xer who grew up in rural tennessee listening to hank and metallica ..you know basic angry young man type metal plus some native country mixed in.....then one day i walked into a record store called treehouse records in mpls and heard this song and its changed my life .,well as much as a song can anyways ,it opened my eyes
I know there has been a book, of Roky´s lyrics, and i belive that Henry Rollins had some kind of info on that,,,? I´m not sure..But check out the 2.13.61 ROLLINS "Label"
The guitarist on this album is a genius too, but you never really hear much about him cuz rokys understandably got all the attention. Anyone know anything about Duane Akalaks or somesuch?
Perhaps, he got sick of it? I know that this is a great song but listening to the same good song over and over makes it bad. Goes for most songs out there to be honest.
@wmwinterbottom I have seen 6 Roky concerts in Sweden the last three years and he never played this song during those. Maybe next time. I´m also wish Roky to play “You don´t love me yet”, and “Burn to flames” live but my dream would be to hear “Slip inside this house” live but it will probably not happen because of the complexity of the song and text. An up-tempo version of “I have always been here before” should be nice as well. This list could be long… /APerfectMonster

Hey phsyc. thanks for putting the Evil One up!
I tried searching for it a year ago or so and I couldnt find much of Roky at all, let alone his songs.
Are you going to post his radio interviews thats included on the evil one rerelease?

Yeah man! that's be great...and if you have any live stuff, especially "mine mine mind" throw that on as well if you can.

Why does Roky not perform this song live nowadays? I miss this outstanding song at his conserts.
