  • So accordng to tha japanesse, they are doing it for reasearch. WHY??? yeah, we'll learn about them, while they are extinct. so they can't learn everything they need to know from the 1000's of whales they already kiled? why the hell do we NEED to know about them anyway. for what purpose. how will hat help us? just to fill in some blanks on textbooks? who gives a shit. SINK THE JAPANESSE!!!

  • if they realy wanted to stop whaling, and are even willing to die for it, why not just bomb the japanesse ships? or damage them to a point that they are unuseable. yeah, they will go to prison, but thats a lot less then dying. hell, shoot near the other boat, (i doubt any crew members will stay on deck if they are shooting), then throw grenades, or some kind of machine gun, or snipers, and take out the equipment onboard. seems a lot easier.

  • They are a terrorist group! Absolutely no doubt about it.

They harass LEGAL fishing vessels out in the open ocean, use bombs/grenades, ram other ships trying to sink them, throw crap into props trying to disable other boats.

They are not very successful but they are still terrorists,, just lame unsuccessful ones. Maybe it's because they are so smoked up or to weak from the vegtard diet?

  • Japan Whaling Association is hunting whales at the request of International Whaling Commission.

There are still a lot of uncertain points of whale's ecology.

Samples of the constant number based on statistics are necessary for the ecology investigation.

  • It is necessary to kill because the accurate data is needed at weight, the food habit, the pursuit, and the breeding cycle, etc.

Moreover, many of data that becomes its grounds is the one extracted in the deliberation though there is a voice to have misgivings about extermination, too.

  • At least, it is not the one that it has misgivings about extermination in the red list of the United Nations.

This riot cannot be solved by the emotionally-charged argument. However, if we have reason and each other can be pointed out, this riot will be automatically solved.

To the people in dear Australia that carried it out to native people at the slaughter.

  • the only research the japanese are doing with whales are how to cook them

  • If it really illegal, why doesn't the Australian Navy send their ship? The Sea Shepard is not a law enforcement agency.

  • @davidcard Because Australia's government doesn't care.

  • @davidcard Learn to spell then learn too know what your talking about. If the International ban of whaling in the southern ocean whale sanctuary is not enforced then Sea Shepperd and all other non violent anti whaling groups by default have the power to enforce the law.

  • I love the sea shepherd!

  • Fucking Nisshin Maru

    STOP WHALING!!!

  • The Japanese fleet really should stop whaling in areas designated as a sanctuary....or stop altogether They claim to be doing research by killing (and packaging for food) 1000 whales a season. Where is the research though? What are we trying to learn? Where is the data? When will it stop?

Please Just because there are whales in the sea doesnt mean they belong to you.
