Hauppauge Hybrid Video Recorder Sticks

I finally figured out how to get a signal from my dish tv network and i also got it to record my xbox, but I am having trouble editing the recordings to my pinnacle studio 14, it says files unsupported, how can i record from my wintv-hvr 950q hybrid stick and put it to a different format so my pinnacle can edit it..please respond, anybody somebody

I dont have a HD TV atm but im looking forward to get WinTv 950Q. even though i dont have a HD TV will it still reord in 1080i?.

@ePiKidsProductions yes but you have to get splitters from the xbox/ps3 to your tv and happauge... because theres a 5-7 sec lag between the xbox/ps3 to pc

Iv,e had one over 4 weeks,,,still not got it working yet,,,and I,m using roof arial, (uk) - I uninstall,then do it all again,,NOTHING,  any ideas ????

the attena hooks up to the cable end of the stick and it smells funny because it has a heating problem i used mine for a hour and it was hot to the touch almost cooked it.

The thing That I dont understand is how he hooks his computer up to an antenna. Dont you have to hook it up to ur cable?

ok might be a little late to answer this, but yes since you can record tv u can also record what ur playing on the tv, like a movie, or games, or whatever

yeah im sure, and it should be good quality. ive seen videos of when people recorded themselves playing super smash bros melee, and the quality was really good
