  • AAAAAAHHHH! I'M DYINGGGGG, I miss this game. :(

  • Great job Rareware. Great job

  • Best Nintendo 64 Game!

and still have people who do not know this amazing game.

  • yes i grew up with this game! :D and donkey kong but this mostly

  • The nostalga is killing me

  • Banjo is cute.

  • the game seems fun. i would play it except for one thing, the NOISES that the characters make.

  • @Z3eemxAL3in i miss this i was 1

  • still don't know why he would live so close to a witch

  • I just bought a nintendo 64 and this game off of Amazon, i have regained my childhood again, success!

  • i played this all the time when i was younger, i would still play if it didnt break!!

  • Worlds Number 1 N64 game of all time

  • Man, this was my bros and I first game ever :) great memories

  • Always thought these guys should be on super smash bros.

  • this game was my favorite game wit 6 years

  • man i still have my N64 and my Sega genesis

  • I played this game since i was young. :) It was a very fun game! :D And i still want it! D:

  • I have fond memories of playing both this game and it's sequel Tooie on My N64 which I still have, which thank goodness it still works or I'd never have the Banjo-Kazooie and Tooie Nintendo experience which is what I prefer over the XBOX 360 ports (don't get Me wrong I still like the XBOX ports but its just it seems so much more proper to play them on a Nintendo console) I still remember being 10,I might have been 10 and turning 11 since I remember it was around My birthday *2bcont.*

  • *Continued* I might have been 10 turning 11 since I remember it was around My birthday, My aunt had bought Me Super Mario 64 (still a good game but to this day I still believe Banjo-Kazooie is superior to it) but I lacked an N64 to play it and one of the games everyone wanted at the time was Banjo-Kazooie I had seen the Toonami commercial where they were giving winners of one of the earliest contests the block had copies of the game and I had seen the commercial with the *2bcont.*

  • *Continued* and I had seen the commercial with the guys around the campfire that featured the monster Banjo and Kazooie coming out of the sky and kidnapping the guy in the group who laughed at the person telling the story thinking he was crazy, I still remember some specific lines from that commercial, like during the campfire scene the guy telling the story at one point said "Feathers Fur everywhere" and during the game footage the announcer said "Where you're both Bear and Bird with *2bcont.*

  • *Continued* and during the part where they showed footage from the game during the commercial the announcer at one point said "Where you're both Bear and Bird with amazing powers" though I don't really get why Rare wants to erase all traces that the U.S. commercial for Banjo-Kazooie ever existed when the Japanese (including the JAP ad for Kazooie) and American commercials for other games are just fine staying on Youtube. Anyways seeing and hearing about Banjo-Kazooie at the time made *2bcont.

  • *Continued anyways seeing and hearing about Banjo-Kazooie and all it's hype and praise only made Me want it more, I did eventually get to play it for the first time at a Toys R Us store where they had an N64 and had the game there to let people try it out, though the person there had progressed as far as Mumbo's Mountain and I thought the C-buttons were the swim controls and drowned in the lake near the bull and got a Game Over. I did eventually get an N64 but I also remember I was being *2bcont

  • *Continued* I did eventually get an N64 but I also remember that at the time I had gotten in trouble for something I had done back then and was punished and not allowed to play Banjo-Kazooie until My punishment was over until then My Dad played Mario 64 and Banjo-Kazooie, they were kind of overwhelming for him, in fact when he reached Treasure Trove Cove and had hit the X to find the treasure and it said "You'll never find Me now" he called the game a rip off (though had he *2bcont.*

  • *Continued* (though had he progressed through Mario 64 for just long enough he would have said the same thing about that game as well calling it a rip off) then he saw the final X on the large Island. Eventually My punishment ended and I played the game and Rare's cheap shots didn't get to Me as much as they had gotten to My Dad (at least not until the sequel with the Canary Mary Cloud Cuckooland races) I actually progressed pretty well I got scared at points like *2bcont.*

  • *Continued* I got scared at points like before tackling the quiz show afraid I'd get all the answers wrong I rescued Tooty and while I didn't have all the Notes and not nearly enough for the Red honeycomb life bar and some of the note doors with the Eggs and feathers power ups, after a ton of losing to her I beat Gruntilda without the extra energy life bar. I also did eventually get the last of the 100 jigsaw pieces that I missed. I still play the game on My N64 but the copy I got *2bcont.*

  • *Continued* I still play the game and it's sequel on My N64 but the copy I got just recently erased every file and wouldn't save any data and just stopped working for some reason, well all I have to say is thank goodness for Luna Video Games and their keep every system and games from ancient to current stuff or I might not have been able to play Banjo-Kazooie in it's entirety on My N64 ever again. Anyways sorry for the long comment but it's just I can't explain My childhood memories in *2bcont.*

  • *Continued* Anyways sorry for the long comment but it's just I can't explain My childhood memories in just 1 or 2 comments, I really need to make it longer when I feel like reminiscing and remembering while I explain them, sorry in advance again.

  • I wish they could put oddworld: abes oddessy on xbox

  • By the way does anyone know if they sell this game for the Gamecube or for theN64 still? If so can please get back with me on it?

  • @DarkJokerGaming you could just get an emulation for it i got one from emuparadise it's just 16 mb

  • This was the shit....and may I say that even though I dislike Country music and all that. Banjo Kazooie is an exception and is a childhood Icon of the 90's to the early 2000's. Ah the good old days.

  • eu jogo no meu xbox 360 o novaço

  • This game is so awesome. Played it when I had my N64 and now that they brought it out on XBOX I downloaded it and beat it. I'm 19, and it's one of my favorite games ever. Working on Tooie right now also. They just don't make games like these anymore. Now it's just all war games. Those are fine, I play them, but I'm not on XBOX live 24/7 starting arguments with people on COD. Banjo Kazooie and other adventure games > COD all day long.

  • Wish my N64 worked. I really want to play this.

  • The music in this game.. My favorite of all time.. Hands down.

  • I still have the game

  • How much will u buy for my n64 xD

  • I still prefer the conker series because of it´s superior humor but this game is epic.

  • :O totally remember playing this game all the time and I was so freaking excited for Banjo-Tooie!

  • I'm still playing this in 2012. why this over assassins creed? or battlefield? cause this game doesnt make me wanna punch a fucking kitten.

  • my mom grounded me from playing my n64 for a year and a half because i kept SLEEPING IN FOR SCHOOL AND IM FUCKIN MAAAD at her!

  • I was scared of the withces laugh!!!!!! so many memoriees with the songs!!! awwww

  • LOL I am playing this game right now. it is paused on my t.v! also it came out the year I was born! =D

  • @TheGodlikeGamer I'm 13 and i've been playing this game since i was about 3. I still play it!

  • @Fleskjereta the reason why you play it is because you have grown very fond of it

  • @TheGodlikeGamer they're missing out on them cuz they don't even know that these are what real games are instead of them action crap games

  • I miss banjo so much I miss the game I miss the N64!!!!!

  • when video games were cool...

  • i love this game but its soooooooooooo long!

  • its all coming back to me lol

  • @OSKAR9104 (Majora's mask was awesome too) Should be #5.

  • You know Banjo got fucked up the night before that's why he was sleeping in you my boy banj

  • Man. The graphics still hold up. I love this game.

  • You can also find Banjo-Tooie on the Marketplace, as well.

  • Oh man, so many memories jolting back, this feels so unreal

  • @MrNoobieslayer I would say either. Banjo kazooie, super mario 64 or legend of zelda ocarina of time.

  • ah this is so much more fun than playstation

  • Eurogamer gave this game 5/10

    but mario 64 got 10/10

  • @CRASHISONLYGOODGAME The guy is a total moron.

  • strange how you never seem to notice that all the characters do is make grunting sounds.

  • omg i love this game i remember those DAYS now i got an xbox360 with black ops i miss these days

  • @wtfisit25 well you could always just play the game again, i still have my n64 and just did a 100% run for the fun of it

these days never have to go away, i just wish that games that are popular these days were not just rip offs of call of duty

a good old cartoony 3D platformer is nice once and a while, and even rare proved that they dont always have to be for kids with Conker's bad fur day

  • To all you current gamers with an Xbox360 ...

    1) Get on your Xbox360

    2) Go to the Game Marketplace

    3) Select "Games and Demos" and then the Arcade games

    4) Search the Titles A-Z - The "B" section...

    5) Buy Banjo Kazooie for 1,200 MSP

    6) Go kick that old Hag's ass again!

  • @BriarClaw is the graphics the same as for the N64?

  • @YRUPLAYINGTHIS - Yes! :D

  • @YRUPLAYINGTHIS The graphics on the Xbox version are a lot clearer and neater than they were on the N64 version.

  • @BriarClaw is it on ps3 aswell ?

  • @therisingshallfall - i wouldn't know. i don't play any of the Failstation systems.

  • @BriarClaw fuck you, go sit on your shitty xbox made of scrap.

  • @Oliver200101 - At least Xbox doesn't get hacked all the time. :3

  • @BriarClaw there not failstation systems if they made this much profit, same goes for xbox, but i do agree either way, nintendo 64 rapes modern consoles any day

  • @therisingshallfall - "Failstation" is just my pet name for the system, i don't hate it or anything. i even wanted to get a PS to play the original game for a small series my boyfriend got me interested in. Though for the most part i probably wouldn't, seeing as it would be a waste of money since the game was taken off online playing a good seven years ago! xD it's an ok system, and i don't mind it, i just wouldn't buy one personally these days as there aren't many games on it i'm interested in.

  • @BriarClaw very good point i happen to agree except i actualy got one :P

  • @BriarClaw i love you

  • @BriarClaw how much space it take up??

  • @krazykamron - When you go to buy it off the marketplace it should tell you. :3

  • @BriarClaw I did that as soon as it came out on 360, gotta love BK, but then again I still have it on N64 :D

  • @BriarClaw Nah, I still has it on N64 ;)

  • @BriarClaw i just got mine so will do

  • @eddiebo1234 - Woo! Have fun~ \o/

  • 26 people can't get past training.
