after i finish step 7 my ipod just stays black i cant put it in dfu mode and i cand press any of the buttons help please

all you do is put it into dfu mode again and go back to step 5 and unplug it and plug it back in then keep going

I got to the part where i put the jailbreak thing in the restore spot then my ipod went black and now my computer cant ID it. its saying unknown device.Help pls

yeah all you have to do is put it in dfu mode again

click on the ipod touch 2.2.1 firmware and click make ispw

Ok thanks, that worked, but when i press upload dfu, my screen doesn't turn white. Any guesses why?

yeah you have to unplug it and plug it back in after you click upload dfu

i got the 2.11 software watever it is into cywood but wen i went to jailbreak help and went to step 2 all there that it showed was cyw00d jailbreak helper and ipod2,1_2.2.1_5h somthing. i dont have jailbroken ispw how do i get it

i extracted it onto desktop i dont rember saving it anywhere but im looking around now

ok i downloaded cywood from rapidshare but it didnt download to my desktop background it came up wit a page thats shows firmware bundle, tempbatch, install, and cywood jailbreak help what do i do now.
