The US has the largest economy in the world, even if it does get screwed up and dips like it did in the recession, the government would still have the funds for the army regardless. The economy doesn't affect that. And i think you misinterpreted what i said. The US will, of course, fall at some point. Every country does, but not anytime soon. The US is still a very young country.
