  • homa homa homa homa prius eel (lol) just kiding

  • is that eel max size?

  • Trigers are SCARY :(

  • nice setup!

  • is a snowflake eel salt water?

  • @headbud43 NO

  • some has to answer me !! all i feed my eel is a goldfsih every week it eats it normally it attacks and swallows and everything, is that good or like unhealthy ??

  • yes snowflake eels are one of the few eels that will not eat fish but will usually eat any non-hermit crabs, shrimp and other crustaceans though mine is fine with emerald crabs

  • should listen to JoeVSvolcano its good advice.....another problem with live food especially rosey reds...they have very little to no nutritional value not to mention the disease that plaques the tanks at the fish store.

  • ur trigger fish is so small and adorable :)

  • sweet vid.. makes me want to go back to a salt water tank.. used to have eels..

  • i have a young eel abou 8" inches long i cant get him to feed any tips

  • You can try and keep an EEL with Other salt water fish if you start with a juvenile and feed it ONLY shrimp regularly. This EEL has apparently been taught fish are its primary food, so its only a matter of time as this eel grows that he'll be all alone and not allow any other living thing in the tank with him

  • your only suppose to have 2 snowflake eels if you acclimate them at the same time but if your other one was smaller they'd get used to each other

  • i have yellow tangs, one of the fish that looks like dori from finding nemo clown fish and a french angel fish and im gonna get a snowflake eel

  • lol the one from finding nemo. Dude is a hipo tang. and your eel will eat the clown.

  • a 75g is fine. Lighting can be standard bulbs or you can use T5's. Watts can 1-3 per gallon.

You shouldn't have problems with the eel. :)

  • but is a 55 or 60 enough cuz i dont find a 65+

please tell me i dont know why i am watching this video so much and i dont add it to favorites... but, PLEASE TELL ME! im new to this stuff i men saltawater of course^^

  • anything that is 50 gallons or larger should be fine for a snowflake eel.

  • anything 30 or larger is fine for them

  • i wanna ask you a question... its really important! its like this: im gettin a 60 or 75 gallon tank and im gettin a snowflake eel some clowfish and something else im not really sure about the rest maybe some gobbies or damsels but the point is that.. is that tank too little for the eel cuz if it isnt im thinking of getting an angel or a butterfly fish (im not sure of the name) because they grow kinda big... i dont have much money for a 60 and for a 75 even less but i cab get it ohcrapnomoreleter

  • what kind of lighting do you use and how many watts?

  • maybe, depends on the size of the angels and how much you feed the eel.

  • will the a snowflake eel bother angels and clownfish?

  • how often do you feed the snowflake eel
