@TheNeonTide For the same reason, if you use scube you are breathing an air with more pressure under water, if you try to resurface without breathing the water pressure depresses and the volume of air increase so your long expand. If you don't use scuba you breathing air at 1 atm so when you go deep and go back to the surface the pressure at the end of dive is the same. Understand? forgive my english

@jerryboy219 you are engaging larger muscle groups in your legs which are more o2 efficient. Also the fin has a large surface area than snorkeling fins. In a nut shell it is the perfect choice for apnea diving

Why do you use weight-belts going deep?

I never use weight-belt if I go deeper then 20m.

I am making boyancy addjustment to be neutral on ~20m.

My Q to you is; on what depth You have 0 (zero) boyancy ?

At 10m cause all the waters we have here are about 10m :D

As for these guys. It's much easier to go down with some weight. If you have no weight you have a lot of buoancy at the surface but not much sinking effect deeper down. With proper weighting you achieve the perdect balance between rising and descending.
