My life is movies and want to be a film critic for a living. In my personal opinion, I believe this character Alex played by Malcolm Mcdowell is the best acting performance of ALL TIME. He deserved to win oscar for best actor in 1971 when the film was released. Kubrick should have won best director and picture as well but it was too violent for its time and I believe people could not get past the shock for it to win an oscar. Though again this is just my view and respect other opinions.
