You know how I said I had to wait until November to play the demo? Well that is no longer true, as today I got the chance to pre-order the game at a Gamestation store, (I'm from the UK) and they gave me a card with the L4D2 cover on the front, and a demo code with instructions on the back.
For the 360 version, (the one I'm getting) you just press the Xbox Guide, go to Marketplace and select Redeem Code. Then you simply type in your card's code and accept the download.
ok.. did you get any demo card? or if you bought from gamestop did they email you? if you pre-ordered and you didnt get your demo.. you need to talk to the manager or email the company
I heard that the time that they're releasing the demo is Pacific timing, that would mean that people living in the East Coast have t wait til 2:00 in the morning to obtain the demo. Is this true? I'm not sure.
Ah yes yes. I'm already downloading it. It was 2:00 am. I had a little confusion because they put PST on the paper with the code, but I think they meant PDT.
umm... that's a hard question.. if you pre-ordered with gamestop on the xbox 360 then you should still get to play the demo beucase they don't send out the emails untill 11:00pm today....
no one.. not even steam is sending out the demos.. everyone one is sending out the demos at 11pm so yeah you should be good..

In the full game, when I get to be The Spitter on Versus, I'm gonna spit into the saferoom when the Survivors are all on low health!
I think Versus was the best part of L4D1, so for me, it's gonna put a smile on my face to be so evil towards the Survivors when I get to be the new Infected; riding Survivors into Mudmen, charging them into murky water etc.
yeah and isnt it like even if you kill the spitter she leaves a puddle of poison that hurts the survivors? cuzz if thats tru then i would so just stand in front of the safe house and spit at them blocking their way
haha ... yeah kinda like the mud men.. when they hit you it's hard to see becuase the mud goes all over your screen... but the other weapons look awesome >:D
2 more days..... *sigh* will be the longest 2 days of my life. as well as i hope that im not the only one this psyched about it. L4d was great but Valve did a MUCH better job with the second go. Anyone with me?
Finally... some one agrees... it feels like the closer the demo gets the longer the days get.. atleast we can play the demo untill it the game comes out haha... i agree about L4d2 being better.. becuase now when i play L4d i always think theres only 4 special infect (you can play on versus)4 survivors and like 5 weapons plus a pipe bomb and molotove.. all i'm saying is that they finished L4D2 at the right time becuase L4d1 is getting alittle old and is missing ALOT of stuff...
yea.Tuesday is going to be an all nighter. It says that it comes out 11pst pm on October 27th. That means (since im EST) 3AM demo is available. Im pulling an all nighter idc if my mom throws a fit. And yea l4d to be completely honest, they worked really hard on it but the final version kinda seemed like a beta. Comparing L4d to L4d2 is like comparing Fallout 2 to Fallout 3. Major improvements and making such a better game. Also, L4D2... going to be ALOT harder... and im always up for a challenge
Yeah.. i'm going to try to upload the demo RIGHT when i get the demo.. no matter how late it is.. becuase i CAN NOT WAIT to play the demo.. ... and yeah it's kinda like comparing Fallout 2 and Fallout 3 becuase of the improvements.. and i was SOO happy when i first saw that L4D2 was coming out.. becuase they needed to improve on alot.. and when i watch those videos about how they got alot of feedback from L4d1 i kinda think of it as a BETA and L4D2.. i need more challenge anyway.
Even though there is no Akimbo Assassin achievement in L4D2 its one of the first things im doing, I love the new pistols, new reload animations, new looks of the guns. now it actually looks they are using the stock of the weapons against their shoulder rather then having it as the hollywood look with the "Hip fire" look. L4D is going to be like $2dollars when left 4 dead 2 comes out..... Still 2 days. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK

you need to pay close attention to your time zone.. your in east coast so you have to wait untill 2:00am i'm in west coast
