  • Awsom

  • that one dude is fat ass hell.

  • haha i still kind of wished that my bro could have jumped back up when he got kicked. so the fight could last a little longer.

  • Wow! That was awesome. I liked how the guy faked being hit and jumped back and landed on the ground. That was a super graceful fall.

  • it is something missing about the technics.

Not to be mean but i think if we want to make the Bokator fames you guys have to perform ore do the koreografi better than this. The stick form lock like you guy have missed some power, and it ned more action .The technik have to be more precise. God luck !

  • not to be mean but i had no idea what you were guys doing

  • we are doing the Tvai Kun Kru, there's a short explanation in the description. we adapted it it to make it more performance oriented with four people in the ring. we learned the tvai kun kru kbach hanuman from Lok Kru Omry Ban in Long Beach, CA.

  • The music is called "Domneou Knong". It is played by a pinpeat ensemble. In classical dance they would play it during battle scenes. But if you just listen to the srolai melody it is the same as when the pradal serey fighters spar in a match. we used it because it is nearly impossible to find a good recoding of the traditional srolai solo for pleng jole sungkriem (battle music).

  • oh for real? my friend took me to learn some Hanuman dancing by signal hill 2 of these kids were teaching us i forgot there names ones dark and ones light hmm but i only been there once but i learn Bokator at the Cultural center next to the mark twain libary

  • haha, i thought u knew the tvai kun kru, bizzythug1. these guys are my homies from ucla.

they also did some kun tambong demonstrations this year. they learned from our kru's dvd haha.

  • the sreys yummy

  • thanks 4 shring

  • Dude!!! I got to say this, Bokator is the Best martial art on earth. These guys on video are so cool. I wish I could learn Bokator right now!

  • Dear KoneAngkor! thank you for telling. Are you one of the Bokator student in UCLA? I am looking forward to learn Bokator too when I gruated from college in America.

  • oh no, none of us actually know how to do bokator, unfortunately. we just learned the tvai kun kru from Lok Kru Omry Ban, he has a Pradal Serey/Kun Khmer gym here in Long Beach. and the stick fight, we learned from Lok Kru San Kim Saen's videos on youtube lol. as for any Bokator gyms i'm not exactly sure of where training is available, but i'm sure there are a few around somewhere.

  • Thank you!!! But what is UCLA?

  • thankyou for watching. UCLA = University of California, Los Angeles. United Khmer Students is the Khmer club there, we do an annual show to showcase Khmer culture for family, friends, and the rest of the UCLA community. Not many Khmer students here, so hopefully people who come to see the show and don't know what Khmer is will learn something new about our Khmer culture.

  • When Did perform this kun kru bokator?

  • saturday april 19th, 2008 at our 11th annual Khmer culture show at UCLA.

  • Nice Kun kru and Bokator demonstration!

  • unfortunately we were unable to find a good a recording of the actual twai kun kru music..we opted instead for the standard pradal serey music with the sra lai melody...we basically had to adapt the actual kun kru and make it more performance based (hence four versus two in the "invisible ring"...we feel the kun kru is a very cultural aspect of khmer martial arts and is quite elegant and intriguing to see..we had the fortunate opportunity to be taught by Kru Oumry Ban

  • that hot khmer girl doing kun kru lol but for real nice stuff guys that jus isnt the music for it lol i kno it hard to find u gotta go to srok khmer to get it but khmer pride ^_^

  • yeah it was really hard to find. for the walk around the ring we used a Khmer Funeral song, and for the Kun Kru we used a song called "Damnoeu Knong" both from the "Khmer Passages" album. Then for the stick fight we used chhaiyam music.

  • Very cool! But I don't think that the correct music for the twai bong goom Kru.

  • thanks 4 sharing
