Perhaps this is related to the cloth ripping off in the early scene and may have been addressed elsewhere in your many videos, but does Ncloth not do high winds speeds in cloth very well? Turbo's cape looks great moving in breezes, but I notice that it either isn't there or isn't moving when he's doing something that would result in a very strong wind effect upon his cape. Could you elaborate on this? I'm pondering picking up Maya to play around with and I'd like to know if this is an issue.
No, it's just the fact that I'm not to good with it, LOL.
A professional could probably make a cape do just about anything he wants, I'm just an amateur. Don't judge Maya's cloth abilities by my videos. it can do so much more, I just don't have the know how to do it.
yeah, that was the weakest point at episode 1! nCloth!
for the close combat scenes i would like to suggest you to watch closelly to some "Capoeira roda". If you don't know it allready, thats a bresilian combat technique, that inspired some of the most known fight scenes at Matrix.
Yeah, As you can see, it's still giving me trouble. But I thought it looked funny the way his cloths just rip off of him. So, I figured I'd let everyone see it, LOL.
Best three minutes and twenty nine seconds Sir, all the new stuff looks great, and the old stuff looks alot more "touched" up, great job Sir, I can't imagine how long that takes, Turbos episode 2 will be epic
great work sir, i really think you have improved a lot on maya, not that you wear bad before, but you have improved. btw the line "i do not come in peace, i come in hate" was just so brutalish awesome, a real badguy line, 5stars
Wow. It's like one of those commercials for those schools of the arts LOL. It's amazing really how real some of that stuff looks considering you dont have a team of animators to help you. Or do you? O.o IT LOOKS TOO GOOD TO BE DONE BY ONE MAN!
God, I could just imagine the Turbo season 1 DVD box set consisting of 4 dvds with behind the scenes and commentary by Turbo's creator, Mr.1. lol. Wonder what the box would look like.
That's a crapload of work you've done dude, props!

good stuff but shooting a lot of film is easier than doing a lot of character animation, not to mention the dynamics. Your rudeness is unjustified.

Another neat video, interesting to see it with the lines of inner working (excuse my lack of technical talk)

Have you get the elbows right on him? Or was it the shoulders you were having trouble with?
I hope the skin weights video helped.
unpicked1 3 years ago
It did, I got that problem sorted out.
But then I realised his hands sucked.
bad.
So I'm redoing them.
When that's done he'll be all ready.
