I get a message saying "The remote computer was not found" before the program opens and I can't do anything with the program. Only came to look into this because I can't defrag my hard drive because the task scheduler program isn't running. Message me if you can help. Running Windows 7 Prof. 64-bit.

@crazedimp321 Task scheduler isn't running? Boot your computer in Clean Boot state and check which non Microsoft program is causing the issue. I don't know in your case, but sometimes programs like other defrag programs screw things up. You can go here tinyurl/5u344xu and it will help you restore it in a more detailed fashion.
