  • when he walked up you and asked what you were doin, ya shouldve asked who the fuck are YOU ..? then kicked his fucking supercilious ass...fucking NJT blowhard.

  • you dont need permission to film to film at stations

  • Virginia Railway Express gives me no problems. i even gotten invited into the cab when the train was at the final stop

  • What an idiot! I would report him to NJT for that!

  • What an ignoramus. I had the same issues in London with filming the Eurostar. The terrorists win if I don't have the freedom to film things that I enjoy.

  • I don't see the problem with filming the trains...unless your a terrorist.

  • he said you cant video tape in a railyard. Yeah that looked alot like a railyard to me

  • '' why are you filming the train?'' ''wellll, im a terrorist from alquita and im planning to blow a train up like this somtime next week. DUH!'' what a idiot

  • what an idiot

  • I was on the train the other day going to Summit, NJ & the conductor told me that no videotaping was allowed. This happened another time too. Do you know whats up w/ these NJT employees? Do you need a permit cause last I checked you didn't need one. Its stupid how conductors can be these days.

  • iv checked the rules u are allowed to take pics without a permit or any of that shit on amtrak and NJT

  • Unbelievable. Some engineer just can't leave good people like mew and you alone. 5* and a favorite.

  • Not an engineer-I do believe he was a cop. He was wearing a suit.

  • Wow what an idiot, he should know what the rules are before being put on the job. He distracted you from noticing the best part of this video. A doubleheader with TWO cabs, one behind the locomotives, and one at the end.

  • it's legal to take video of njt equipment as of jan 2006...so i've heard

  • i remember seeing that exact train on the NEC! small world

but about the employee it's not like your videotaping it for purposes that might harm people. like CNJGeep said it's just a hobby

  • That NJT employee is stupid. It's legal to take videos in that area. You weren't trespassing so there isn't a problem

  • videotaping is not illegal. what was that guy i couldnt see him. IM AN NJT BRAKEMAN AND IM TELLING THE WORLD!! ive even railfanned with cops in uniform. it's perfectly alright.

  • There is NO rule against it, and NO problem with it AT ALL. Employees sometimes just dont like being videoed, or are just in a bad mood. Some engineers just ask me to turn the camera off, that's no problem, but when they get grumpy, I could care less.

  • @NJT4111-The MTA are the same way...cops and the workers telling us it's illegal, but when you go on the MTA website it doesn't say anything about it.

  • @BJC20199

Well, employee's have total right to ask us what we are doing, and express their feelings on it, however, when someone says its illegal, that's when you wip out that little letter that says its perfectly legal in public places. Of course, if you are in a illegal place, you are a bit screwed.

  • @NJT4111-some railfans I know was arrested, because they were trespassing with fake MTA ID.....if you read subchat you will know what I mean.

  • @BJC20199

well gee, wonder why, because its FAKE. Impersonation a federal employee.

  • @NJT4111-even if they didn't had the ID's..they would've still gotten arrested, because they had RTO equipment nad other stuff....the first incident was a lot worse than this.

  • @BJC20199

Point and case, don't have any illegal things on you...because they are illegal

  • @NJT4111 okay not all engineer on njt are in a bad mood because i was on the train 46 and the engineer was nice he was in a good mood that morring of 10 /5/10

  • @NJT4111 train engineer on 46 on 10/5/09 was in a good mood

  • @NJT4111 There is indeed a rule against taking video recordings or still images of New Jersey Transit properties or assets for commercial/monetary purposes. This is where the misconception amongst most employees happens. They are told of this rule, and confuse it to think it means that includes railfans and apparently just dads with their up-and-coming railfans, which it does not. The suits generally though are just being dicks.

  • @NJT4111 Yeah. Just watch Dash9CW's video of the ALP-45 DP in the MMC yards. Nobody from NJT ever told him off, proving that it is ABSOLUTELY LEGAL! The guy in this video was being a complete arse at the time.

  • What was the other loco in the front other than 4141?

  • 4214

  • Y can NJT Employees can be just as nice as Amtrak. Seriously All the local commuter train employee's make a fucking hassle about it

  • the LIRR doesnt say anything. if you film a LIRR train and en employee sees you, they just see you and don't say anything. they just continue what they were doing.

  • The nice thing about the LIRR or any MTA station (other than NY Penn which is owned by Amtrak) is that if they say you can't railfan, you can rub in their face a nice 4 page document that clearly states that photography is permitted.

  • Dude It happened 2 me last year at metropark

  • I took some @ metropark on friday and no problems gotta do it on the dl !!! act like you setting your camera and take the video

  • There is nothing illagel about that. I would of told them to go fuck his self what a scumbag

  • so why didn't you turn the camera on him and explain yourself? NOTHING illegal about it.

  • i film there and have no problem

  • I LIVE there and I've never had a problem either.

  • You should always have that letter that lets you record on you at all times!

  • What letter?

  • what a asshole
