considering only 197 1130cc Tornad's were ever built they requires chasing down.
fit the Ti race exhaust and tune with a pc or tuneboy software, DNA air filter and you can easily get 160rwhp from a 1130cc Tornado.
My 900 RS Tornado is superb, and just as capable as any Duke, Aprilia or MV, and doesnt burn your bum, overheat, or leave you in pain from being in the saddle for hours.
And the induction noise above 6000 rpm is to die for
Hi, I had an Duc (monster) and now I have a Buell XB9 Sx and I think u couldn't say better about what you feel about riding this brands. I was wondering if it would be possible to compare the Buell CityCross with the Ducati Hypermotards. For me, its really doubt and where I live I there's no test drive for those. Thanx a lot! -J.
great video!!! i was on the list before the 1125r was on the floor. it is by far the most fun ive ever had on a bike. It does need a steering dampener, eric buell is full of crap when he says "if its built right you dont need one" I would not have a fractured vertibray if it had one. but even having said that when i recover, i am buying another buell.
He got a bit more excited about the Buell, wonder why? Looks like it hit every branch falling out the ugly tree! Benelli looks and sounds the dog bollx. As the guy said "its got the COOL FACTOR"...its all you need!
Sorry to disagree, but I buy a bike based on excitment- I throw on my Ipod and fucking go dude! I just bought a cr and have had nothing but compliments, plus it is a realtive bargain. It's all what you want in a bike. It was either an 1198 or the 1125cr for me. Insurance costs were 6 times greater with the Duc, and the review says it all...
Plus your right- if "the cool factor" on a bike is what you need, buy one based on your own opinion. By the way all, chicks dig my bike (and it's balls-lol)
I have just bort the Benelli as it sounds fantastic once on the move, did you try the Benelli? I found the buell ok, just resale is not to good in the uk, no offence. Insurance is a big factor!! Enjoy it mate, I am!!
Where I am, there are no Benelli dealerships, so I couldn't try one. Even the Buell or Ducatis are rare- thats one one things thats great about any of these 3 bikes- you aren't going to see too many around, and I like that! Have a blast man!
buell0364---- test ride one and you will fall in love with it... it is the best bike i have ever owned. I like it more than the japanese bikes... it does run a little bit more rough but once you hit 5th and 6th gear it smooths out.... the bike just doesnt like to be cruised.... it likes to go fast
Hey, I own an '08 Lightning and love it, but for my next bike I was thinking 1125r. Have you owned an air cooled Buell and is the difference huge or what? The 1125r looks stupid fast and I'm looking forward to having both bikes...
Biggest difference is the shifting points, your lightning likes being in a low rev and makes next to no top end power. the 1125 motor still makes awesome bottom, thou not as good as the xb, the middle is awesome and its got something not very many buell riders are used to, TOP END POWER. the extra sixth gears is also great to have.
Top end for shizzle! I love my 1125cr man, can't believe the difference! I also love the fact that it will keep up to almost any bike (or dominate them for that matter) on city streets! Thats what the Buells were originally designed for - being hooligans!
buddy the buell feels awesome! i love it and i think by far it is the greatest bike i have owned. one thing i know and im damn sure about it is that im not gonna let this one go!
Hey guys, just picked up an 1125cr- you weren't kidding!! F-ing awesome! I traded the XB12s, and am really impressed! (and a little scared lol). The cr seems to make better low end (and top end obviously...) than the XB; it has a different ratio (and a little lower top speed) than the 1125r (although I may change the gearing to equal it later on). Thanks!
Thats true, or even better, a Ducati 1098r or a Desmosedici RR. The MV is powerful, but just a litte bit too heavy for my taste. But as Ducati, Benelli and MV Agusta are my favourite brands I love them all as much.
hey, i have a tornado, i', m 5'7 and 140 pounds. trust me it balances well anthe power is al yer gonna need apart from that, the sound just is music and the looks? moren enough for girls to come to me and as.. what kinda bike is that? lol
you have no idea how many rides i've had cauza this bike lol

yeah man youre probably one of those riders that buy a bike and sell it at the end of the season or crash it before the season ends.
you have no passion for motorcycles and riding. so keep your dumbass comments to yourself!

What do you mean with "you mean mv agusta"?
vithaj92 3 years ago
If you whant an italian bike with a great look, more powerfull than the tornado, lighter than the tornado... you need an mv agusta F4 RR 312 1078.

well it depends if you prefere 4 blocks(mv agusta or demosedici rr) or V twin(ducati).
